I'm pretty sure you don't have to beat any relevant opponents to get a shot at Wilder? o_O

That’s a great idea,Ortiz with only a loss to Wilder and Whyte to AJ are both in that second third tier so makes sense to me.

Why would Whyte fight a guy coming of a loss AND is a southpaw? How would this remotely prepare him for a back foot 6'7 tall fighter?

Waste of time and not a smart risk fight to take.

Whyte has already earned his shot, no need for extra credit. Wilder should fight him next and get it out of the way, The Joshua fight will come.

Absolutely infact the Hearn offer shouldn’t mean anything soon if the WBC enforces it like they did Canelo only with Wilder they’ve been the exact opposite.
Mando also would not carry a four million prize I’d of thought?

I wouldn’t put too much stock into that though as we could see Dillian Whyte after surgery and he was awful, looks to me like it’s only just back to how it should be and he looked miles better for it.
Ortiz would well out box him though and probably knock him out,Browne did catch him a few times that night and if that was Ortiz?

Exactly, Wilder fought bums all his career so why not fight this bum for career high pay day? Why is Wilder ducking a 6-8 million dollar pay check and why you weirdos trying to rationalise it?

Well I did in another one, there have been oh, about 30 threads about the potential match since Whyte who is now suddenly this terrifying world beater because he KO'd a disinterested fat guy who didn't trained or even attempt to come up with a game plan last Saturday.

I don't get what people see in Whyte. The guy can't box and comes into all his fights grossly out of condition. Ortiz would hand out every bit of the same beating he gave Jennings and Allen.

Wilder should get the nerve to fight Whyte next, he refused $4,000,000 to fight Whyte................but Wilder is afraid of him, esp. after watching his knock Brown out. I doubt if Wilder will ever fight Joshua................

TRANSLATION: I know Whyte gets badly KO'd by Wilder but I'm running out of excuses for AJ to duck him.
