Dillian Whyte signing for Top Rank

Its called money Numnuts. You dont need a US fan base/PPVs when ESPN is throwing bucketloads of the stuff at you. ESPN would love Whyte. Along with Fury, makes them a player in the UK market and hurts their competition. 2 birds with one stone. Its a significant amount/opportunity if hes prepared to walk away from matchroom at this stage of his career.

I'd be happy if these guys fought each other. Unfortunately I cant see Arum putting Whyte and Fury in with any combination of them for first 1 or 2 fights with Top Rank, he will delay them.

Its called a deal. You get X amount for X amount of fights garuanteed. I suppose Whyte who knows this deal is deluded too. Genuis.

 

He simply squandered himself with refusing the Joshua fight. No he's too proud to go back. So he's signing a solid deal with TR. But not close to the numbers he would get with MR in the UK.

Its a move to avoid Joshua for the time being. Its not exactly a smart move either, he would make more money doing PPV 02 fights anyway . He wont be fighting any top guys there either like fury because that's not the ESPN plan . He should have rolled the dice and in a loss he still had a rematch with Joshua, this would have added up to at least 15 million in 2 fights . He also had a parker PPV option which is even more lucrative then any ESPN fight they'll pay him for.

He might get to where he wants but it would take him 3 years from now to get the stated above.

 

Maybe hes been offered 10 Million to fight Fury? Your flippin mad if you think his team havent crunched the numbers and are just going willy nilly to change promoters, in a different country for less money.. thats a special kind of special.
