Ahh yes, I did read that. Didn’t really experience the side affects, maybe a small drop in libido. I did also read it can cause depression. I did put on a lot of weight while using it but I was eating out every night and drinking a fair amount too, so can’t blame finasteride ha.

It isn’t that expensive either. Can buy generic finasteride for about £15 a month and that’s from the UK. Pretty sure minoxidil is a lot cheaper now too (was about £50/month when I tried it back in 2012). As for the shampoos, wouldn’t bother with any of those...except if you want something to relieve itchy scalp.

On the Dillian topic, Hearn hinted in an interview that we won't get official word till sometime around October due to a final hearing being given, and that's when Whyte will be allowed to provide and official statement.

Townsend has a legit head of hair after getting a hair transplant, after he initially done SMP.

David Silva has one of the best hair transplants I've ever seen. Incredible results from a clinic in Spain with a 2 year waiting list.

It's also came out recently that technology now allows hair to be cloned using stem cells, with treatments costing 300k. If demand is there I can imagine this dropping to around 20k in about 10 years.

 

There’s not a chance in hell Townsend’s is all his own hair even after a HT. The density is unreal. Look at him prior to his SMP, he clearly did not have enough donor hair for that level of density. He was basically bald at that stage. Lewis Hamilton is another with Afro hair who I believe is using a system in addition to the HT he has received.

Beckham is wearing a system. If you look through his pictures over the years he has gone from thin hair to thick hair to thin hair to thick hair etc. Again the density he has is not achievable as far as I’m concerned with a HT alone. Look at some of his pictures when he has been in a swimming pool (no homo) and you’ll see just how thin his hair is. I remember one time he was papped in the papers with ultra thin hair and then like two weeks later had a full head of hair presenting some sort of award. HTs don’t take effect that quickly.

Yeah I’m aware of the cloning research think it’s a doctor in Japan who has pioneered that.

Andre Agassi's was a beautiful barnet and I remember him coming out with his baldie bonce and wondering what was going on. It's a few years since I read the book but may read it again - was pretty good.

I hate to quote the daily mail but the pictures in here were taken days apart. It’s impossible for a HT to take effect that quickly. In that pic where he has a thick head of hair he is using a system. The article speculates that he is using fair fibres like Toppik but in that pool pic he simply doesn’t have the density for that to look good IMO.

When you see pictures of him with really dense longer hair styled professionally like this:

Tbh I think Beckham should just get SMP. He looks good with a shaved head and if he got a really light shade not many people would suspect. Of course being a high profile ex footballer he would eventually be outed and ridiculed and that’s why he probably uses the systems.

It would be pointless Becks having a HT although he’s probably had one in the past. Check out Kris Boyd who used to play for Rangers. He had a HT and within months he pretty much lost it all again and now has a pathetic combover where he’s clinging onto his few strands with dear life. He now does punditry on Sky and it’s clear that he uses fibres to cover up his bald patches.

 

Afro hair is different, gives the illusion or more density. Look at Kyle Walker, last season he had a similar hair style to Townsend (high top) and you wouldn't suspect he was balding, this season he shaves his hair off and looks like Pep.

The density levels for David Beckham are definitely achievable by hair transplant. Some doctors these days get amazing results. You only have to go on Hair of Istanbul insta page to see - and it only costs around 3K in Turkey.

 

See the article I posted above. The timeframes of the two pictures make it impossible to be a HT. I don’t doubt that Becks has had a HT. I assure you though that he does use hair systems.

Re Townsend I watched matches last season where Townsend’s hair was soaked in rain and there were still no bald patches. The density in his “hair” is just impossible with a hair transplant given how bald he became. I’m aware that Afro hair can respond better to HT due to the texture. A lot of hip hop artists have had amazing results - Chris Brown, Tyga and Tory Lanez for example. But note that none of them have a hair style and density like Townsend and they are all wealthier than him too.

 

Am i right in saying some of you think Dillian Whyte failed a test because he's treating hair loss lol...

 

Now that you mention it, Whyte did say that he "needs to keep his hair". Maybe to prove he is on hair growth promoting supplements...

lol i read about 5 pages talking about hair tansplants...

my best guess on dillian whyte is that his UKAD A sample failed, then he can either accept the notice of charge (which he didn't or he would have been suspended and the result publicised) or he requests his B sample which means he cannot be banned until the result is received which would have been after the fight so BBofC cleared him for the fight.

pretty sure you can't appeal a B sample and i'm pretty sure if he makes some excuse up of where it come from he will still get banned, like he did the first time, or like tyson and tommy did when they said it was boar, or like when canelo said it was a dodgy burrito. you get my drift...
