Even if UKAD is corrupt what benefit do they get by giving Whyte a VASTLY reduced sentence?

You think Whyte is worth that effort in UKADs eyes? Does he pay their entire revenue you think???

Second offense gets 8 year ban... they had no problem slapping two years for a pre workout but now al of a sudden they are super duper lenient? WHY?

Whyte bought them out? How much for? He aint that rich ?

There would be a dozen plus whistle blowers by now because it aint just UKAD who know the details of Whytes case... lots of independent professionals not belonging to UKAD are involved in the process... no way could they stay silent all this long if UKAD didnt follow
    Procedure on 8 year ban

so what you say has no logic whatsoever

Main difference between when he got 2 year ban as opposed to say serving a 6 month ban now is what he earns...

I think if someone could be bothered to do the work...correlating fighters ban length to how much they earn...think it would highlight what we all think...

Let’s just go back to this. Nate Diaz was “busted for drugs” a week or so before his fight. Within the days that followed they managed to identify what it was that was in his system, what caused it and cleared him.

Whyte - Rivas has 5 months ago? And we still haven’t even had a statement from UKAD. This can’t be just down to solicitors hushing them, they’re really showing themselves to be an incompetent organisation.

you sound very knowledgeable care to break down the details for us?

like who would he be paying off? How many people? Are they all part of UKAD?

is it worth getting bribed on UKADs part without risk of another whistleblow.. for whatever money Dillian is offering?

Because your theory has a ton of holes in it

ive read UKAD policy documentation doesnt look like you have

There is a fine line between incompetent and corrupt

But UKAD are known to be highly secretive and confidential with their cases which is all explained in their documentation

Why? Because many legal and other professionals are involved in the case who provide expert opinions and verdicts so you wouldnt want to put any if them in awkward situations for risk of reputation damage

Furthermore these individuals involved in UKAD case numbers wouldnt be so willing to risk their careers infront of other professionals by accepting a bribe from an athlete

given how many are usually involved, there is a high risk of whistleblowing by a non UKAD or even a UKAD official

Of course Whyte as a British fighter has value to drug agency. You need to ask the question.

Without boxers/atheletes do you believe drug testing agencies have any value or purpose?

Who would fund these agencies? How would they justify their existence?

He was banned with no problems before, because back then he was a nobody with no value.

UKAD could afford to throw him under the bus since he was just another crab in the bucket.

He's now joined forces with MR one of the biggest promotional companies in this country and if you think the hearn's don't have influence and don't do backhand deals and that even applies to Frank Warren, then you need to dry the water from behind your ears and wake up to reality.

Hearn do backhand deals with who exactly? You act as if UKAD are the ones in charge here, you can't pull strings with UKAD and bury a doping case.

UKAD are minimally involved in the investigation, where an independent panel take over.

These are individuals, experts in their chosen profession and field, not all likely to be morally bankrupt so as to take a bribe and risk a whistleblower destroying their reputation. There could be a dozen on the panel, you'd have to pay them all off, and then UKAD.

Unlikely, Whyte is not even signed to Matchroom, it is a fight by fight basis, Hearn wouldnt go through all that trouble at all, maybe for AJ... MAYBE... certainly not Whyte.

Yeah UKAD get their revenue from fighter(s)... PLURAL and athelete(s) PLURAL... not Dillian Whyte... they wouldnt stake or risk their reputation in accepting a bribe from Whyte just to bury his one individual case. There are PLENTY MORE where Whyte came from, Whyte is a drop in a lake... he isn't putting UKADs children to school with the money he makes.

If there are 12 independent individual professionals on a panel to investigate a doping case on behalf of UKAD.... what PRICE would they accept to risk their reputationa nd destroy their career?

    10k?

    100k?

    500K?

    1 million?

These guys probably earn well enough ALREADY. Whyte ain't got the cash to pay all these guys. And these guys ain't taking the risk of accepting the cash. They all work with each other, anyone of them can blow the whistle. Especially when it coems down to... "Oh so you paid that guy more than me"

Exactly, it comes down to how much you can afford to spend on a good legal team, plus the potential liability UKAD could face if sued for loss of earnings. When costs of losing cases become underwritten by the government rather than having to come out of the department budget we’ll see UKAD become far more muscular.

I thought the initial 2 year ban was harsh, no way he’d have got that nowadays...

There is corruption involved in every organisation at every level of government and every sport.

FIFA are made up of independent officials and they were found to be accepting brides in the region of millions. Even their president was caught out in a corruption scandal

Attributing fancy titles and calling them experts doesn't mean these agencies consist of infallible characters which is the world you seem to live in, where Experts and professionals are perfect angelic beings who ensure everything is done correctly.

Do you think that no corruption exists within the police because they're a government agency?

There is an hierarchy in these places and you can be sure they know how to cover and protect themselves individually.

As a complete body they've already been ousted for their corruption and lax attitude towards certain athletes doping.

Total incompetence is as bad as a corrupt system. This whole matter should have been done and dusted by now instead it creeps on for no real reason.

You simply cannot compare different organisations, the econimical structure is completely different, and hence the sphere of influence.

UKAD is considred to be very poor on this forum... FIFA?? Billion dollars????

How much do footballers get paid? Way more than boxers, how many more footballers globally than boxers?? WAY MORE, how many more megastars??? WAY MORE.

UKAD IS THE UK ANTI DOPING AGENCY, FIFA is worldwide... stretches far... many stakeholders, many athletes... highest earning in the world.

You gonna compare FIFA to UKAD and Dillian Whyte? Get real man.

Like I said, I painted a very realistic picture of Whyte's doping scandal, how much he has earnt after tax, and the likelihood that he has bought off a Dozen officals linked to the UKAD doping scandal..

Highly unlikely, CHUMP CHANGE, compared to FIFA, and the billions of dollars, and the highest paid ahtletes in the universe.

Why would you compared? Yeah scandal means scandal, but the circumstances are COMPLETELY different. This is what a court of law would dissect... motivation... probable cause.

The issues I have with posters like yourself is the level of ignorance in commenting on a situation you know very little about.

We can sit here and say silence silence silence... but ones mans silence is another mans confidentiality clause. This is a legal situation, UKAD have strict procedures on confidentiality... and it does actually take them a while to evaluate various cases. Thing of how many ahtletes are registered under UKAD or involved in some type of case.

The investigations are very involved.... lab tests... expert opinions... legal discussions... forensic analysis... corroborations... lasing with third party agencies like VADA... so much going on.. for one man... when the same is going on for many other athletes... it takes time.
