Remember when Hearn used to love UKAD and tell us how they are always testing Joshua year round. Not he wants their testing disregarding completely. Boxing is a joke and worse than Cycling.

That says a lot. I don’t think he’s backing Whyte now, I think he’s trying to separate himself from blame.

So, I'm sure most of you saw that absolute fool Spencer Fearon on video say that he heard Rivas actually failed a test?

Someone showed Yvon Michel (who I sincerely hope takes legal action against that absolute charlatan of 'analyst'). His response categorically said that Rivas has not failed a drugs test and went on to add he has never fails a drugs test in his entire career. Compare that to Hearn's comments on the matter and IMO the truth suddenly becomes irrefutable.

(I would just post the tweets but Twitter is blocked at my work)

    "Eddie Hearn revealed" -

Even now the "journalists" aren't calling him out over anything.

Hearn should of distanced himself from this saying he'll release a statement when the results are known/an investigation is finished or something like that.

He looks pretty hypocritical now. Miller however is pretty pathetic to try and call him out here though. If there was one guy who should keep his mouth shut about this situation it's him.

I hope they do take legal action against Fearon. He showed everyone what he’s really about in all this, i can almost tolerate him sticking up for Whyte but to try and tarnish another fighter in response is s**thouse behaviour.

If Hearn tried to distance himself from anything it would have been futile seeing as he’s been caught on camera before the post fight press conference discussing the “miracle of all miracles” which led to Whyte being cleared to fight.

It’s all good though. Whatever happens to Whyte now it doesn’t matter. Hearn has pocketed his share of the PPV and ticket money. That’s the important part for him.

I'm putting on a Bacofoil hat here, but it does make you wonder if the whole "on a fight by fight basis" meme was a pre-emptive strategy for situations just like...."he's not contracted to MR, he's his own free agent etc".

Absolutely. I said as much after seeing one of the choreographed interviews. It's clear he's failed with the injunctions and now it's every man for himself. Whyte served his purpose and brought in the PPV loot. I expect Matchroom and Whyte to part ways.

The bad news for Whyte fans is that if Eddie ain't backing him, this is about to blow up badly for Whyte. Hearn hung in there for the cash and now he's running for the hills.

There will be more fun ahead when Warren tries to sign Whyte after his ban is served. They're all snakes.

Bang on mate. That as well as the scenario where Whyte gets KTFO by someone like Rivas and Hearn doesn’t have a long term contract with Whyte so can do as he pleases with him.

But remember this is the guy who makes out that he really cares about all of his fighters. He cares so much that while Dave Allen was being wheeled to the hospital in an ambulance after the Price fight with no indication about his condition he was in the ring cracking jokes with Luke Campbell and Lomachenko about their fight.

I think Whyte was going to release a statement but was likely told by his Manager and Laywer to wait until UKAD issue their final conclusion.

I have no doubt Whyte would love to address the news reports but would have been told to keep his mouth shut.
