Dillian Whyte tests positive for banned substance

So now where does everyone stand that Vada pre and post fight have cleared him ( and Rivas for Spencer Fearon)

 

This is exactly what I thought. Plus as @CutThroatFade said, no mention of the glove issue. It stinks.

All that universe, philosophical, religious **** that Fearon spouts all time yet he tried to muddy another fighters reputation because his mate is in bother.

 

This is literally irrelevant.

They are just trying to get the casuals on board who may not even be aware that there is a difference between VADA and UKAD.

I think we can assume now that he definitely failed a UKAD test, hence UKAD not even being mentioned in the article just published in sky sports.

I can’t actually believe this is just being brushed under the carpet. The fact Whyte took PEDs really doesn’t phase me, I believe all world level fighters take something, however the depths they are going to cover this up is insane.

Lost A LOT of respect for Hearn, he goes in hard on other fighters who failed tests but defends Whyte, I hate hypocrisy, I couldn’t care less that he’s his promoter.

I guess it’s UKAD and BBBOC who should be held ultimately accountable for this shambles though. They both need to be independent investigated, I genuinely believe the government should be doing something about this.

 

We know Whyte was tested biweekly sometimes weekly. As Frank Warren pointed out in his article, Whyte could easily have popped PEDs in between the VADA tests. It’s the random UKAD test that has nailed him.

I keep hearing Hearn saying ‘wait till the facts come out’...well, if there is traces of dianabol metabolites in his system then that’s the facts. It shouldn't be in his system at all. Only revealing the test results will reveal the facts, not excuses.

 

The other thing going under the radar is he has already failed a drug test 7 years ago or so and blamed "Jack3d" which is blantantly nonsense

So this oh he wouldn't cheat stuff is nonsense, he has already cheated before

 

Sky are pushing the Hearn rhetoric now. It seems that they are setting out to try and discredit the UKAD test.

 

Will sit well with the promoters over the Atlantic I'm sure. That a literal network is involved in the cover-up.

 

It’s a strange one that there’s not even traces in the VADA tests.

Be interesting to see the dates of all the VADA tests Whyte took and the date of the UKAD one.

 

But Whyte wouldn't know when he was being tested by UKAD so seems a ridiculously risky to try and take PEDs in between tests.

 

Very true, mate. I’m just giving an example of how it could happen.

 

You can't just take a PED inbetween tests, people realise you have to cycle these things for like mininumum 4 weeks(a lot longer really) to get any real benefit, if I pop a bunch of dinabol tonight, I'm not going to wake up tomorrow and deadlift twice as much, it's not a polo

 

Some points.

- Before all this everyone would’ve said VADA testing > UKAD.

- people are now saying Britain is corrupt etc. But it’s the British test which has possibly popped Whyte and the more reputable VADA has brought him back negative.

- The WBC adhere to VADA and it’s mandatory for fighters to enrol to be ranked by the WBC so where does Dillian stand now?

- VADA being completely negative suggests innocence of Whyte or at worst incompetence of suggests incompetence of UKAD (somehow getting a sample wrong. So if either was the case why haven’t Dillian and his team requested the B sample? That B sample could clear him and put an end to it all or more likely come back positive and condemn him as guilty.

- there’s a reason that B sample hasn’t been opened. Saunders didn’t open hisnbecause he knew the findings would be the same. Is this the case with Whyte?

 

Just when you think it can't get any worse. This is a complete shambles.
