That's a good question and a good fight. I'm leaning towards the Bruno that fought Lewis to out jab and stop Whyte. Not with any certainty though. A bloody good match up TBH
Bruno obliterates Whyte. Whyte got KO'd by 42 year old Pov ffs, and went neck and neck with Chisora and just made it against Parker. Bruno could outbox or KO. Whyte has a punchers chance.
Perhaps, but mainly because Whyte is fresher in the memory. Bruno was a better boxer, with a bit more steel than many now give him credit for, and I'd expect him to jab Whyte up and sleep him on the end of a combination somewhere between the 4th and 7th rounds.
Whyte has some dog in him but we've seen him get beat by the better boxer on a few occasions. Frank could be vulnerable later in a fight if he was gassed. It would be an interesting fight that I would edge with Bruno but if Whyte is still standing after 10 he might get the chance to finish Frank off.
The best versions of both, Whyte we saw in the Chisora rematch and Bruno we saw vs Lewis or Tyson, I think it's a competitive match up. Bruno has the better jab and reach, Whyte's an inch taller and about 10-15lbs heavier. I think Bruno is better on the outside but I can see Whyte having no trouble getting into range as Bruno like Whyte isn't very mobile and won't be able to get out of the way. Both clearly have the power to KO the other question is who finds the other chins first? I'm edging towards Bruno simply because I think he's defensively a bit more solid while Whyte as we know can make defensive errors leaving himself open which is why he's been down so many times against Joshua, Rivas, Parker and Povetkin. Even if Whyte takes Bruno late into the fight where Bruno will fade he could always make one mistake and eat a big shot and get dropped or even stopped.
