The Body Snatcher v The Samoan Bulldozer, who ya got? This is it, the official poll. Who wins and how? Put your balls on the line and choose your man.
Parker didn't like losing, he is as driven as he has even been and will be there to make a point. This may be a different Joe Parker and Whyte has put himself in the way of a man hell bent on his mission. This may break the KO draught Joe has been on
I like Dillian but I think Joe is better than him in every single category. Parker UD. The thing we can all agree is that Hearn has options on Joe, otherwise he'd never be sacrificing Dillian to him.
The way Hearn has today described AJ vs Whyte 2 as 'huge' should he beat Parker, tells us all we need to know. Joe will need to dominate or stop Whyte to get the nod.
I just wish Whyte hadn't taken this fight. He should have gone for Ortiz... If he loses, he has nowhere to go but downhill. The loser loses their career, at least at the very top level. Both these guys deserve more than that. Parker should have had a warm-up fight, then a big fight that has a real meaning, then the world title fight again. Whyte should have fought Ortiz and then Wilder would have had nowhere to go. But unfortunately they've gone for the money fight, the one where the loser is done, finished. No doubt, Parker wins this. I guess Parker vs Wilder is exciting too, just not as good as Wilder vs Whyte which would have been an absolute monster of a fight and my personal favourite matchup that I wanted for 2018. Looks like that's not gonna happen now. Good thing is, if Parker wins, he proves he is the real deal. If Whyte wins (Which I just don't see unfortunately), then he also proves he is the real deal. That's the upside to this bout, we get to see what these guys are made of, and if they are just hype or not. My worry for Whyte is, he has been talking to Sky Sports as if he wants to KO Parker. That's mad talk, Parker has the best chin of all the top heavyweights currently, and by a considerable stretch. That's the one thing you can't argue against when it comes to Parker, his chin is made of titanium. If he can KO Parker, then there's no doubt he has improved big time, and I'd fancy him to smash Wilder.
Agree Parker should win, disagree it's over for Whyte if he loses. Whyte is a draw in the UK, he's a good fighter , headlines shows at the O2 and makes a killing for a guy without a belt. A loss is a loss, it's not the end of the world. John Ruiz lost 4 fights before becoming a 2-time heavyweight world champion. Whyte has a huge fan base in the UK that isn't going away, and they respect Whyte for fighting all comers. If he loses, Whyte still has a myraid of options on the table, likewise Parker if he's signed on with Matchroom. People these days prefer to see and respect fighters that actually challenge each other, like in the 70's, not the shambles that the US heavyweight scene has become today. Whoever loses this fight will do themselves no harm and probably gain even more fans and respect for fighting each other and putting on a good show. Hell, Derreck Chisora is still one of my favorite fighters for the same reason.
I love Dillian Whyte, one of my favourite boxers , as honest as they get, I really hope he beats Parker and then smashes Joshua as well and hopeffully Wilder afterwards.
I'd love to say Parker by knock out but I think it maybe points because its been a long time since I seen Joe drop anyone. The Cojanu fight killed my confidence in his power slightly. Parker by UD.
