I am grateful you are not an official, because your card is quite pathetic to say the least.

Whyte threw many jabs, some landed on gloves, most landed on Rivas' face. It did it's job, it scored him points, it damaged Rivas and you can't find your balls to man up and give credit where it is due.

Rivas got outdone by the Jab, that was the highlight of the fight, you must have been watching something else entirely.

I could make a longer gif but that's all the footage we need to see because it clearly wasn't a legit KD and it proved crucial on the judge's scorecards.

Of course he landed plenty of jabs.
    As did Rivas.
But both probably missed more than they landed.
You don't need to land many jabs to swell an eye up.

    I watched the fight.
I scored the fight. For Rivas 115-114. Most of the rounds were very very close. About 9 of the 12 rounds were really close. People are trying to tell me otherwise but they were close rounds. I've listed the 5 rounds I gave to Rivas. If people think they are clear Whyte rounds, I strongly disagreed. If I get round to watching it again, I'll see if I can see what others saw.
I haven't any problem giving Whyte his credit. He boxed well and I have absolutely no problem with the decision. I think 116-111 seems way too wide but since so many rounds were very close I can't really argue much with that either.
People aren't giving Rivas his credit for winning rounds or even admitting the rounds were close.

On average. Whyte has the best opposition on his record over the last 12 months (Parker, Chisora, Rivas) of any top heavyweight. I give him a ton of credit for that. He hasn't faced a soft touch in his last 3 fights at all, and has squeezed them into 12 months. I wish the other top heavyweights now would follow his example, with the same quality control and activity level.
I'll also say Whyte has definitely improved a lot and continues to improve. Good luck to him.

    I'll take another look.
    I had the 3rd even.

If I give the 3rd and 4th t(which I had even) to Whyte, I have him winning 114-113.

I think he will be back, but he definitely should take a long break and enjoy the money he has made(talked about buying a second house).
It was a fun ride, especially the second part of his career(post Yoka)

Allen at times showed some real craft and even talent. But he could never keep it going for even a round. And a lot of the things him and Barker worked on didn't translate over into the ring.

Here you see Allen beautifully moving his head and feet. Throwing crisp punches and doing some nice defensive slips.
Against Price he barely did any of it.

He could have been much more but had a solid run.

I see Whytes refs were helping him out again. What was with all of those separations late in the fight when Rivas was working inside? Rivas output was low early but he certainly got no favors from this ref.

Rivas was clearly trying to headbutt Whyte at times. And I seem to remember a few elbows as well.
Not to say that Whyte is some angel, but the ref did the right thing trying to keep it clean.

It did but he controlled the fight with it. Rivas was out of ideas and clearly couldn't get past the jab and didn't do nearly enough work to win more than 2-3 rounds.

So you had Rivas winning ?

That's the kind of judging that robbed fury!

This could end up becoming an NC in light of Whyte's failed drug test

Teper vs Price is still a 'W' on Boxrec, so I'm not sure it's standard practice to change to NC following a failed drugs test. But you're right, it should be....

    Round 1 Rivas 10-9
    Round 2 Whyte 10-9
    Round 3 Whyte 10-9
    Round 4 Whyte 10-9
    Round 5 Whyte 10-9
    Round 6 Whyte 10-9
    Round 7 Rivas 10-9, close
    Round 8 Whyte 10-9
    Round 9 Rivas 10-8
    Round 10 Whyte 10-9
    Round 11 Whyte 10-9
    Round 12 Rivas 10-9

Rivas hurts Whyte late. Piece of **** referee stops them from fighting and buys some time.

    115-112 Whyte

That's about what I had it. Rivas should have thrown more his low output conservative style cost him here.

The cross out because it likely becomes a NC?

There was a complaint filed already because Whyte used gloves that weren't supposed to be allowed. But now whyte pissed hot and the fight was pretty close.
