Persoon said she doesn't have the power at lightweight to hurt Taylor and that Tayor is too technically proficient to beat unless she can be hurt.

Povetkin will need a knockout to lose a split decision.

Haha so touchy. Persoon literally just admitted she lost yet you’re still crying. Get her titties out your mouth

Really superb boxing technique on display from Katie tonight. She thoroughly comprehensively outboxed the bigger slugger in there. Superstar Katie. That was a virtuoso performance at times, lots of times.

What has Anna Woolhouse done to get that job? She's hardly charismatic and she's nothing special to look at.

Persoon didn't watch the match, until she has.... she has no idea what she's talking about. Trust me, when she does, she'll be as pissed as most of us are.

And you think this is touchy? You don't know me very well do you?

Haha fair enough. Katie won the boxing match. Persoon fought well but she lost.

Why would she be? She won twice, with dirty boxing and an endless gastank being the only things Persoon can threaten her with.

Danny Green hits more three's than Persoon lands punches.

I think Whyte deserves the shot and it would be better for boxing if he won, but I keep having a vision...

Povetkin throws a feinting hook to draw the check-hook. Whyte obliges, throwing one of his patented all-in, off balance haymaker hooks, but finds Povekin just out of range. Povetkin answers with a well-planned overhand-right counter, and...

Down goes Whyte! Down goes Whyte!

Whyte pops right back up, but Povetkin smothers him, throwing 30, 40, maybe 50 largely unanswered punches, burning up every last bit of 40 year old gold-medal greatness in his last grasp at the brass ring in a barrage reminiscent of Dokes-Weaver. The parallel continues as the ref sees enough and steps in, even as Whyte is standing tall. While Whyte protests in disbelief as the ref explains that it is his job to protect himself at all times, the announcing team declares..

WINNER, AND NNNEEEEWWWWW WBC INTERIM HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION!!!!!!!

They make it a point to note that adding the WBC interim championship to Povetkin's run as WBA regular champion makes him boxing's first two-time pseudo heavyweight champ.

Book it! It is going to happen.
