A guy like Whyte has such long arms he should never let the other guy get so close to him like Povetkin did.

Povetkin was always a threat as long as he was close up to Whyte. Dillian lost composure. A bigger ring may have helped him perhaps but we can make excuses all day long.

Hope Dillian comes back, I really like him and he is an excellent fighter.

I mean tbh i had povetkin winning the first 3 rounds, so it wasn't that nuts, the two kd's in rd 4 were where i lost all faith in povetkin tho

Povetkin's punch resistance isn't what it used to be, but he still has his punch. He can definitely be in a couple more "anything-can-happen" type fights against a handful of guys.

Serves sky/ matchroom right for forcefeeding us nothing but whyte v fury all week..this was merely a formality, Eddie publicly trashed the idea of whyte taking step aside money to make fury v aj in one interview without even being asked i wondered then if he was counting his chickens

He didn't win every round though. But definitely won the round before. Povetkin has a higher pedigree, but youth and strength was meant to be the outcome

Wow, I didn't want to watch the fight because I'm a big Povetkin fan and I thought Whyte would KO Povetkin late. I can't believe Povetkin did it.

According to Hearn there will be a rematch which means Tyson Fury is not obligated to fight Povetkin.
