This fight would have "war" written all over it. Both are come-forward fighters with good chins.

    Who you got?

Ruiz. Better chin and combo puncher, overall more talented. Both are kinda fat slobs, Ruiz' s slobness is more body type, Whyte can be just a fat slob at times, just plain laziness.

Whyte's as chinny as Joshua is. But the bodybuilder is as at least a bit more skilled and far quicker in attributes. The blob makes quick breakfast of the bodysnatcher.

Always thought Whyte was tailor made for Ruiz. I rate Whyte but he loves a tear up far too much. Ruiz may be a fat pudding but you cannot tear up with him, he is the best inside fighter in the division by a mile. Only way to beat him is keeping it long and i dont think Whyte’s calm enough to do that. He’d eventually lose his head and start trading and when you do that with Ruiz its game over

If Ruiz can lay off the chips he takes Whyte apart .

Ruiz in theory should dominate Whyte in close

& Whyte should hold an edge at range

If Whyte attacks his body his hands will get trapped and he'll slowly get absorbed by Ruiz

I think Whyte keeps it long like he typically does and try to outpoint Ruiz.

Interesting fight, i'm not confident in picking either. Think it might be a good style matchup. Whyte could ruin it by trying to make it a clinchfest.

Ruiz has more skill and has the better punches.

Whyte is stronger and naturally bigger.

I think Ruiz is barely 6ft tall in real life. He doesnt look that much taller than 5ft7 Canelo..

I’d go with Ruiz nine time out of ten however if Whyte lands that left hook a couple times it could bail him out. Not saying he’d drop Andy or anything but no ones above being hurt.

I reckon that Ruiz would bust him up early and take him out within 6 rounds.
