Why on earth would anyone prefer Breazeale?

He forces the fight and is hard as nails to hurt and keep down, hes also a more hevy handed puncher even if hes slow. He would make an overall explosive fight,Martin will play counter puncher from distance.....big differance in terms of a fast ending potential match that would deliver almost a guarantee of someone getting knocked out.

Hes still relativley young in boxing years hes not even 20 fights in,hes clumsy for sure and leaves himself open ,hes also 6'7 and those tall guys even Wilder have bad balanace bc of it. Vitali klitchko was a real exception of a good balanced 6'7 as well as 6'9 Fury you wont see that often at least not soon.

looking past that he has great body shots( very underatted ) and uppercuts ,he just needs to put everything together better..

Yeah he's sloppy but at least he has a decent chin and decent power and will be there to fight.

Martin is not much better, his technique is pretty damn poor too but he doesn't have the durability and desire Breazeale has shown.

Martin has a crack addiction problem and mental illness, Whyte will give him a severe beating.

Whyte vs Dom Breazzy is a real 50/50

Breazeale is the more proven fighter and would probably KO Whyte. He is painfully slow but is a very big heavy-handed heavyweight with iron chin.

Those aren't really things I value more than skill.

I'd rather watch Martin cautiously pot shot on his bike (in other words ACTUALLY BOX) than watch a hug-n-club fest between Whyte and Breezy.

Breazeale deals to Whyte, ala Ugonoh type fight.

Martin gets lost on the way to the ring, and walks into the sunset

Seriously? They are both terrible boxers. It would be the battle of the mediocre.

Would be shocked if Whyte fights Brezeale. Eddie Hearns whole strategy has been to keep Whyte ticking over until he can build up an AJ rematch. Brezeale would be a hard fight, one where he may well lose.

I don't think those two would do that.... It would be a blood and guts war

Wait you think Martin is skilled?

He's not as crude as Breazeale but Martin is terrible. His foot work and therefore balance is awful. He crosses his feet, he all too often has his feet too close together, his centre of balance is too high which is partly why he was so easy to drop vs Joshua.

He does a weird thing with his feet too. He picks them up too much to move, when he's looking to jump in he gives off a huge tell by massively picking up the front foot. Any good boxer will see that a mile off and move out of the way and set him up for a counter as he comes in.

His jab he just pushes out, Whyte will out jab him. He also over balances often due to over committing on shots.

Breazeale isn't as light on his feet, his jab is even worse and he is slower than Martin but he doesn't need to be too slick to get to Whyte. Chisora isn't exactly the most skilled guy and he had no trouble finding Whyte, Breazeale will be there to fight and can tough it out and fire back and make a fight of it, both Whyte and Breazeales last fights were wars, so this could be the fight of the night.

While Martin will likely get out jabbed, then countered and fold very quickly once it's clear he is over matched.
