Well that was quick lol. Whyte fighting in Ireland next week. https://www.skysports.com/boxing/ne...hristian-hammer-in-ireland-on-st-patricks-day
A decent comeback fight after a year and a half absence from the ring, Hammer has experience but Whyte should win without too much trouble...
Slogfest / slɒg fɛst / noun (compound) a bell to bell slugfest that also is a boring slog. Typically fought when either contestant or both exhibits qualities of mediocre to feather-fisted punching power and above average chin, along with relatively uncreative and nondynamic come-forward styles. Hey man you gonna watch the next Claressa Shields fight? Nah man, rather bleach my eyeballs than sit through another of Predator's slogfests...
Christian Hammer is the European Jesse Ferguson. Good stay-busy fight for Whyte where he'll have to work a bit for it. Should be a UD for Whyte.
So, he's got a free pass again, eh. Hope Hammer sparks him out. Anything landed on Whytes chin that remotely resembles an uppercut will do the job.
PEDs are most definitely a cancer on the sport. Unfortunately they're rife, to the extent that we just don't know quite how many fighters are and aren't using them... Other than it's likely to be a lot at the top level. I take it you're anti-Fury, too, then? Both Whyte and Fury are busted PEDs cheats... I suppose at least Whyte is generally game for good fights.
Is this possibly some kind of eliminator to fight Wilder for any vacated WBC belt? (It's a joke ... but who knows????)
Honest question, does Whyte really have that many fans? Or why is he getting all these fights, who wants to watch him??
Hammer doesn't much ambition these days, otherwise this could be a tougher than expected fight for a lethargic roid free Whyte.
