Chisora's biggest flaw, other than his technical limitations, has always been his lack of conditioning and laziness in camps. He's now hired a man who has a wealth of experience in exercise and nutrition for boxing. Only a buffoon would fail to see the positives.
There are people far more qualified than David Haye who has almost zero experience in the field of nutritionist or trainer.
The difference being that Chisora is motivated by and will listen to Haye. Its not difficult to figure out mate.
Based on nothing Haye has never improved another fighter it simply has no merit to say he will be the difference.
You don't need to have any formal qualifications to be able to advise on nutrition and exercise and in any event, Haye has worked with highly qualified scientists for the bulk of his career so he can pass on his wisdom. Chisora has spent the bulk of his professional career with Don Charles. Haye has worked with Adam Booth, Shane McGuigan and Ismael Salas amongst others and was a two weight world champion. If you cannot see how this would benefit Chisora's preparation in camp you are incredibly foolish or just one of the hordes of virgins on here who hate on Haye for no real reason. Literally the only obvious downside is the financial hit that Chisora would suffer from paying Haye for his services but clearly the win is the most important thing here for Dereck.
It really would be a tough sell to a casual market. Boxers are prizefighters if the pay is right anyone would fight. Personally what Matchroom have done with Whyte is brilliant promoting. Why try to sell the fight as the 'guy who almost beat Wilder' when most UK fans have never seen a Wilder fight in their lives, if it was AJ it would have a chance. I love the idea of Whyte vs Ortiz but it makes no financial sense and no ranking sense for Whyte at this point when he can male great money in a winnable fight then make big money with AJ. nobody would do anything differently if they were being 100% honest.
I'm not saying he'll win the fight for Chisora. I'm saying Chisora specifically sought to work with Haye. Chisora has been his own worst enemy in the past when it comes to motivational matters and being organised. He clearly respects Haye and Haye knows how to stay in shape. Yes he's not a qualified nutrtionist but he obviously knows more about nutrition and fitness than your average Joe.
I don't agree with all of this but props for a thought out response that didn't resort to petty insult.
So what you're a basically saying is Chisora hasn't got the best man for the job most athletes have worked with highly skilled sports scientists nutritionist etc doesn't make them the best advisors , maybe Haye can make a difference to Delboy by organising a better camp and improving his mentality and bringing in other professionals that can help Delboy get some gains but it's based on nothing because Haye has no track record so it's hard to take your opinion seriously especially when you embarrassingly make out Haye is there as a glorified nutritionist when Del could just hire an extremely qualified experienced and celebrated sports nutritionist.
