Bruno inside 5. Whyte is very average and it says a lot about this era when the man is ranked inside the top 5 by many people.
Whyte. Although Whyte can be a sloppy fighter, he has more to arsenal than Bruno. Whyte has a good jab, best left hook in the divison and goes to body more effectively than any HW in the divison. Love Bruno, probably the most genuine and nicest sportsman ever. That said Bruno does get overrated due to how likeable he is (and of course everyone will vote against Whyte because he is Matchroom).
Whyte notable wins Povetkin Parker Rivas Chisora x 2 Helenius Bruno notable wins McCall Coetzee Bugner More known for his loses with a close fight with Witherspoon and taking a couple rounds off Lewis. Whyte has the better resume of the two.
Whyte is definitely better, but he's one of the most disliked on the forum. Whyte would batter Bruno.
What are you taking about? I personally couldn’t care less about Matchroom, what’s that got to do with us discussing a different era boxing match. In hindsight now Bruno was underrated if anything far from overrated. He was involved in the last great Heavyweight era of Oct 92 - Nov 93.
I'd vote against Whyte because he's crap. Love how the ardent Matchroomers think everyone hates Matchroom fighters.
Clearly there posters who underrated Whyte an AJ due to people saying Bruno was better than them despite clearly having better resumes.
Whyte got flattened by old man Povetkin. If he was in Bruno's era fighting Lewis & Tyson he'd be in a box by now.
