Foreman looked pretty good against Briggs. Not sure who would win, but Whyte doesn't exactly have the particular set of attributes that tended to trouble old George.
Yeah Whyte stylistically wasn't the type that would normally pose problems for Foreman. Whyte doesn't move well, his jab while good is not a match for Foremans and Whyte does make defensive mistakes which is why he's been down so many times. Even if Whyte decides to try and box and move, I just have that sneaky suspicion he'll get caught at some point and get stopped much like when he was on top vs Povetkin and then got flattened.
Whyte loses to every version of Foreman. He's tailor made for Foreman, slow, ponderous & very poor durably & defensively. Foreman looks like Holmes athletically compared to Whyte. Foreman, even at 48, could knock Whyte out with a jab, let alone an uppercut.
Speaking of uppercuts, even the 48 year old Foreman could throw heavier uppercut with both hands than the armpunch that Fury grazed Whyte with. Big George by comeback from behind KO.
I think Whyte can soundly outbox him tbh. Was it Rivas he boxed well from range against? Slight chance of Whyte gassing and getting clipped but smart money is Whyte UD.
