crappy judging. 116-112 was a joke. every time Franklin was in the corner it looked like the ref was going to step in and stop it.

Maybe from scoring jabs, which apparently many here don't do any more. There's a wide range of viable cards in a fight with 5 or more debatable rounds, including a Franklin win: but there were plenty here shovelling rounds to Franklin for two flurries a round for no other reason than that they wanted him to win.

 

Franklin has been hard done by there.

He peppered jabs all night, when he was caught or pressured in a corner he showed surprisingly good movement to turn it around and press back.

I watched some of Franklin's previous fights in the past and thought he would be totally outclassed but he impressed me tonight.

I'm hoping this was just a bad night for Dillian but fear this is him in obvious decline now.

Shame Wilder ducked him and was never given his shot when he was at his peak.

 

Respect to Franklin for saying he thought he got robbed, he did.

He's past his physical prime and him trying to box technically looks so awkward. ''JUST JAB.'' No, he needs to throw more power shots. Get rid of McGirt. This style doesn't suit him at all.

 

Biased commentators talking about Whyte landing good shots... I so so many of them shots get blocked by Franklin.

Well many had it in the 115 113 region for whyte , so 116 112 is only another round to him

 

Also Whyte should have had had points deducted for all the abuse he dealt Franklins *****.

 

Dillian exposed as a shot fighter.

The only good thing for Dillian is that it was on DAZN which means only a couple of hundred people will have seen it.

The varied scoring from everyone just shows how debatable this fight was, but i personally didn't see any robbery though. 115-113 either way would of been fine, It's basically what you like did you like Whyte's harder punches and body punches like me ? or did you prefer Frank's better defensive skills and cleaner punches/jabs.

 

we've had some quality HWs recently... Usyk, K2, Povetkin, Fury .. they could compete in any era..
