Looks like Gorman will be a British level journeyman now. Probably see him against Johnny Fisher sometime next year.

 

Honestly it’s a ****ing disgrace. You have average joes working office jobs who will be putting more commitment into maintaining a good shape just to look better.

 

Gorman should hand him his CV first thing on Monday morning.

 

That's true, but he could have turned up looking like Joshua tonight and the same result would've probably been the outcome.

Wardley is 100% there for the taking. He will need to be carefully managed.

 

It's like when Lewis Hamilton was telling people he was from the ghetto. His old neighbours in Stevenage were really pissed off with him

 

I'd like to see Dave Allen in with Gorman now, Gorman can get back to winning ways by embarrassing Allen

 

Then we get subjected to the 'I wasn't taking it seriously but I'm training and eating correctly now' for the next fight when infact nothing has changed.

 

To Wardley's credit, he could be in some entertaining bouts. He's better to watch than the likes of Dave Allen, who'd be nowhere if he couldn't take a lot of punches. Allen's crowning achievement is Lucas Browne lying down right in front of him. Up until now, Wardley's was Molina doing that. But that was quite entertaining tonight but a bizarre towel ruined it.
