Who does Whyte have to beat for you to rate him, his sheer determination alone is gonna be hard for any current HW to put down and keep down. If he's allowed to fight like that I give him a decent chance to beat/stop anyone currently in the HW division.

 

I see the first more likely to happen than the latter.

Wilder potentially KO's all 4.....But it's the only way he beats Whyte, and maybe Parker.


As great as the Tyson/Lewis era was, this era isn't too dissimilar......all have weaknesses which makes matchmaking so entertaining.

Wilder probably KO's Whyte.....But if Whyte lands that hook, you've got a new WBC champ.

Who did Whyte fought acutally apart from AJ and Parker with a pulse? Nobody. And he lost to AJ and the decision vs Parker was at least questionable (to say AT LEAST).

Whyte is all about dirty tactics, home advantage and some kind of phsyical toughness and will. Not enough to rate him tbh.

 

I just think the current top 10 is **** poor.

Outside of AJ, Povetkin, Wilder and Ortiz there is a massive drop off.

 

Yeah I had Whyte winning, not by streets but he won.


Parker didn't look right to me after that second round clash of heads, no excuses for Parker, he didn't do enough for the "away" fighter in my opinion and when he finally did let it all hang out in round 12 it was too late.

I am convinced though he might have got a bad concussion, maybe double vision or something from that head butt though he because he came out looking razor sharp, focused and aggressive, after the head clash and the knockdown was called he didn't look the same fighter.

Or... it might have been a confidence thing, maybe he thought it was a punch and went in to his shell.

Agreed, on the bogus KD not happening Parker wins the round, and the fight is a draw. But it did happen so 114-111 Whyte.
