    Chisora vs Takam

    Round 1 Takam 10-9
    Round 2 10-10 Even
    Round 3 Takam 10-9
    Round 4 Takam 10-9 Close
    Round 5 Chisora 10-9
    Round 6 Takam 10-9
    Round 7 Takam 10-9
    Round 8 Chisora TKO

What a fight what a fight! Takam was doing the better work during the fight, outworking Chisora and at times it appeared Takam was on the verge of stopping Del Boy. When they fought toe to toe Chisora managed to land some hard counterpunches, but even then Takam was slipping the punches very well, Takam kinda fought like a poor man's version of James Toney in there. That straight right Chisora landed on the temple of Takam came outta nowhere and Takam had no way to get up from that.

Gutted about Takam, I'm not sure where he goes from here, perhaps he gets some easy wins under his belt and then tries to secure a domestic clash with Duhaupas. While Del Boy........Man Chisora always finds a way to stay relevant and he did so fantastically against Takam. :chuck:

Those heavyweight fights on the weekend were phenomenal.

All four participants contributed massive entertainment.

It was exhilarating & uplifting watching those fights.

I need to watch the fight, truly, but it appears as though ESB's non-consensus opinion is that Parker barely edged it?

Seems like the people actively scoring it live had Parker narrowly winning (and clearly winning if you include the 3 point swing in round 2).

However most people who simply chimed in with comments later, and most outside ESB, think Whyte was the deserved winner.

Personally I think the fight hinges on round 2. The official scores were pretty fair if you incorporate the incorrect ruling in round 2. If you correct that ruling, you get a draw or narrow Parker win.
