Are there any he can beat?

I'd give him a shot over

    Jefferies
    Fitsimmons
    Sullivan
    Willard
    Braddock
    Patterson
    Both Spinks
    Douglas
    Moorer
    Old Foreman
    Briggs
    Rahman

I'd say he beats all of them. He also would have a real chance imo against Dempsey, Marciano, Max Schmeling and Baer, Charles and Walcott

He loses to nearly all of them.

    Different levels.

That was quite possibly the best version of Chisora we ever saw...

He might have beaten these guys, or they might have dominated him.

It is very hard to say!

He may have beaten Leon Spinks, but other than him. No , his sheer size does give him a physical advantage over most on this list, but his club fighter disguised as world class in today's boxing would be his undoing against true World Class competition from past generations of fighters.

I think that he is the fourth best heavyweight in the world at this time.

I also think that he is fairly beatable, and it won't necessarily take a champion to do it.

I am also in no hurry to match him against fighters like this yet.

    What is the hurry?

You think he was nearly as good, let alone close to better, than this version?

To take this, lets say, interesting post seriously

Losses via late KO to Jeffries
Losses via KO to Fitz, Whyte is a live dog
What rules is the Sullivan fight under? When he was boxing, boxing didnt even resemble today's sport
Might UD Willard over 12. Over 20, he gasses bad and Willard knocks him out
Losses via mid round KO to Patterson
    KO's Leon Spinks mid/late rounds
    Losses via UD to Michael
Losses via late KO to Douglas
Losses to Moorer via UD, Whyte is a live underdog
Losses via KO to Foreman, any rounds
Losses via KO to Briggs, VERY live underdog tho
Might actually see him KO Rahman late rounds, Rahman is very live tho

Dempsey, Marciano and Baer would kill him within 5. Walcott and Charles make Whyte look like a fool and stop him

A version old too soon, wise too late, I suspect!

Well hasn't this gone down a treat

His left hook could in theory put all of them down, with Foreman being the acception

I don't see any match up as clear cut (accept L.Spinks and Willard who Whyte KOs both before 12) I think he would have to out jab foreman and would have to impose his size on most. All of those guys were beaten (with the acception of Foreman, Jefferies and Micheal) by lesser fighters than Whyte imo. I think any could lose to Whyte, but also he could lose to all of them.

    Although I'm bias as ****

I just think Whyte made him look good. He is very flawed. Great counter left hook though.

Of course Chisorah is a guy who never got to the top, but routinely made people who did look bad.

You could say the same thing for Earnie Shavers, or Curtis Sheppard.

    It's very, very unlikely.
