Browne seems to change trainers for every fight. I remember he was with Jeff Fenech for a bit not sure who is training him now. I suppose it doesn't really matter with Browne as he is 38 and has learned on the job.
Whyte is easy to hit and has been hurt off fighters that are slow and cant really punch brown has the more proven chin and actually has knockout power
Brown looks like a divorcee dad who has started going down the gym to lose his beer gut and got tats to impress the ladies.A fight with charr would be good would decide who is the worst title claimant in the history of the HW division.
Browne v Charr would actually be another good fight, I'd give Browne a better chance of winning that one though.
Browne has an uncomfortable number of close calls in his career. Rudenko, Chagaev, an ancient James Toney, being out boxed for stretches by the likes of an ancient Julius Long and Canadian level operators like 10-3 Eric Martel Bahoeli, who still managed to nearly TKO Browne via hideous facial damage, and now twice being busted for drugs but seemingly have it not affect his career.... Seems like he has as many lives as a cat.
I hope Browne bombs Whyte out I used to like Whyte a while back but he is one of the most overrated heavyweights out there and Chisora beat him and got robbed. Can definitely see Browne stopping him but they will both have to walk through fire in this one.
a Browne loss and he really drops off the ladder. Big big risk for an old fighter to take and the old guys are usually not the one's with their arm raised at the end of these bouts.
He's got more to lose than Whyte, who can always rematch Del Boy in a lucrative fight if he loses. But Browne needs to do something to make himself relevant again after a long time out and the doping issues. A win over Whyte would make him a clear top 10 guy and in position for a title shot.
I'll take the tattooed ***** in round nine. He's a big man, even though Whyte is tall and big, peni is going to wear him out. Both gassed, but the Aussie gets it.
