I had money on Dillian Whyte but after watching I thought Browne was there to get paid.

There's no way Team Browne thought coming in that fat was a good idea

Maybe a future opponent for Joe Joyce? I doubt it though, pretty bad when your out cold and carried out of the ring by the ambulance and taken straight to the hospital. Browne's family won't let him fight again. He'll retire.

i think if the ref had administered smelling salts to revive Browne's fat ass and allowed the corner to duct tape his face together he would've eventually landed something.

I agree he shouldn't. Younger guys like Joyce and Dubois would probably ko him again, but he is a name and could still earn a big enough check.

Browne has no business boxing. State of him. Good luck to him but he's too old & too average.

Jeez, I voted for Browne, knowing his weight, which was in line with his past weight. TBF, I was pulling for Browne, but full credit to Whyte for looking good and solidifying his status as a top 10 hw

Yeah. That's about my sentiments as well.

I knew Browne sucked and went in expecting a Whyte win, but I still found myself surprised by just how much Browne sucked.

As you said, "what the hell was he thinking?"

I struggle to believe it was just for the paycheck. Perhaps Browne just didn't have any idea of his own level. And I do suspect Browne was putting everything on a big, one punch KO.

I think Browne legitimately believed his own hype after years of low risk match making at home. Not the first time we've seen a power puncher believe his power and physical assets are all he needs to beat anyone.

Browne came in too heavy and looked slow on his feet and very rusty. Poor diet and inactivity cost him any chance.

He was an easy fighter for Whyte to look good against. But lets not forget that Whyte went life and death with a shot Chisora and dropped a decision and was knocked out by AJ in his two biggest fights.

    This is called damage control!

Let's not forget this was Whytes first full camp since the Joshua fight...

Browne had great sparring partners including Gorman and even visited Fury...

The truth is Whyte was obviously improved and punished him with body shots.......

Whyte out pointed Chisora would you like me to post the punch counts..??

I swear the crying never stops...lol

P.S...There's a thing called putting everything together at this stage...Whyte just put it all together tonight BC he had the right training!

Whyte IS a top 10 guy...he's actually probably 5 ....considering times on his side.

What would losing to Joshua prove too???

I swear you guys keep digging for nonsense..lol

Ortiz was also inactive and Browne just like him just fought.

    Double standards......

Whyte didn't get hit a lot!

Whyte is by far a more set up puncher than Wilder..with punches...its no comparison!

Wilder gives up rounds when he can't out box....against Whyte may not be such a good idea BC of his punch and work rate of constant doing something.

People also failed to realize Whyte body shots that do and did major damage of wearing guys down.

The difference between Whyte being off balance is he comes back with punches.

Wilder should win but I would stay away unless he is forced. Whyte is still an unknown and if on point could be a bad night for Wilder BC Whyte is only going to be more accurate his next fight.

Browne had only one fight (vs a guy who was KOd 10times before and having a 16-20-0 record) since the win vs Chagaev in March 2016. He came in 15lb heavier than he was vs Chagaev where he looked okay. The combination of getting older, being inactive AND being heavier than ever before was the key to the horrible performance he put up yesterday. And of course Whyte was two levels above any opponent Browne has ever faced apart from Rudenko and Chagaev.

Are you telling me that Lucas Browne didnt look terrible in there? He was just a walking punch bag with no plan, and completely out of shape and looked really rusty. He was already falling for feints and getting countered within the 1st round.

Yes Whyte did a good professional job, yes Whyte is top 10. But Whyte is still not elite.

He was brutally stopped by AJ and also clearly lost to a shopworn Chisora. I scored that fight and many others agree he dropped the decision. I dont see any improvements from Whyte sorry. Yes he is top 10. Yes he is a good fighter. But he isnt elite. He isnt top 5 and he never will be top 5.
