Would be a good step up for Moses. I’d like to see him first fight Whyte, who is an experienced operator but looked like ass in his last outing, and then Chisora, who still looked like he had it in his last outing. if he blasts both those guys out, that would prove something. More generally, I actually like the idea of him running through all the gatekeepers / has beens in short order to prove himself.
Itauma's still a teenager, no need to rush him. Keep stepping him up gradually until he looks ready for the top guys.
I repeat, Itauma would be too fast and too explosive for Whyte, who is not a particularly good fighter, to overcome him...
Where is @BubblesUK the biggest Whyte fanboy on the forum or @Brighton bomber who couldn’t see this obvious gap in class? All gone very quiet. Come in here to admit you don’t know boxing
Whyte looks completely shot but I think Itauma is a couple of fights away from that fight, he needs a chin check first. Also, not a fight I think Whyte would take at this stage. Don't think he sees himself as a gatekeeper just yet.
I agree Itauma has a long long long way to go prove he is a certified prospect and above British level. Yes, we see a variety of over hyped prospects step up and fail all of the time. However, we are talking about a 2025 version of Whyte here. A fighter who is about as shot as they come. Lost to a mummified Povetkin who was stumbling around in the ring walks because he was so shot himself. But managed to one punch WKTFO Whyte a whole 4 years ago. He has not looked good at all in any fight since. We really are not even talking about a Whyte who is British level at this stage. I would back a Fabio Wardley or Fraser Clarke level fighter to stop Whyte. That is why most people here are backing Itauma. Father time is undefeated and its defeated Whyte.
