Whyte has tightened things up since the Joshua fight. He's better conditioned and not as sloppy with his boxing. It's still not been enough though if he wants to take that next step.

If he puts in another lacklustre performance I reckon he'll get an ultimatum from Hearn similar to the one he gave Dave Allen. If he works his arse off in camp he should have enough for Browne. Good fight though I'm looking forward to it.

To be entertaining, Whyte needs to be matched up with opponents who fight on the front foot. Watching him try to close an opponent down who fights on the back foot is right up there with a trip to IKEA.

I like Whyte but he is delusional about his ability! Browne is pretty crude but he is tough and the few fights I have watched it seems when he connects the opponent usually drops. I think Whyte would be well advised to stick and move but not sure whether he has the smarts or gas tank to execute those type of tactics ? If he mixes it with Browne I can see him getting chinned .

Browne is crude and slow but hits hard, Whyte is slow with a bit of boxing ability but its still fairly basic and his power has looked average of late. He also got rocked a few times by Dell Boy who his no puncher.

Maybe he underestimated what DC had left I dont think he will do that here

If Whyte can pump the jab for 12 rounds and lands some hard shots behind it maybe even slow Browne down even more to the body then he wins a decision being a bit younger and fresher I think.

I would like to see him staring at the ceiling though the guy is a grade A muppet. Hopefully Browne can detonate something on his chin and pole axe him

not sure whether he has the smarts.....[/QUOTE]

hmmm Whyte and smarts dont really go together for eg:
"I believe in equality among people. You don't call a black man an orangutan" the irony in this statement is laughable

Like Dillian said you dont call a black man a orangutan. Just heard about this now. Really hope Whyte knocks Brownes head off now.

And before you give it the old Browne cant be racist he has a Jamacian girlfriend, that means nothing.

I was talking about the irony in what Whyte said. I have no idea what Browne said or in what context.

The irony is that he said he believes in equality in all men, but you cant call certain people a certain word but you can call others it. Thats as ironic as you ca get !!

and I dont go down that whole race agenda I have no time for it. If someone looks like a ****** i will say they look like one for eg. The Jamie McDonnell looks like a chimp just in the same way that Daniel Jacobs does. Nothing to do with skin colour just their face makeup !!

However i hope there was no racial connotation in what Browne says but like I said I have no idea.

Not saying Browne isn't a racist and at the very least it's an insensitive thing to say, but given the stuff he says about Whyte being long armed, perhaps that's where the insult comes from...Don't know Browne well enough to say...

Looking forward to the fight though...Whyte somehow grew on me in that press conference, thought he was a nob before

Going to this and Haye Bellew in the same month...a good month of boxing!

Yeah that racist stuff is BS, not many things can be used to describe long arms and there was clearly no racism intended, Browne comes across as smart enough in interviews and in the press conference he wouldn't jeapordise the fight like that.

Dillian Whyte on the other hand was just embarrassing at the press conference. Why does everything come down to Dillian challenging his opponent to a fight in the streets of Brixton?
