I've tried hard to like Dillian Whyte but he's always made it tough, and his press conference the other day was the final straw for me, what an idiot, just so stupid that he's unbearable, and some of the stuff he said to Browne was poor, I'd get it if they were funny, but looks like chl****ia for example, just isn't, made me cringe, and nearly made Adam Smith's weird gurn hit the floor. Hope he gets sparked out for his troubles
I like Whyte Mark Tibbs said from the beginning he would bring out his street nature I thought he meant in the fight not the Press conferences but I do think he will start to pull it out of the bag soon. It is not good for him reading that fans dont like him . The people on here are the people that are actually putting the money in the fight game . I think some promoters and fighters often forget this
Looking forward to the fight. Dillian is good on IFL but his pre fight interviews are quite poor and his last few performances have been poor. Every time he has a fight he always wants to fight his opponents in the street, getting bored of it now.
Always lets me down when I’m expecting a big performance from Dillian. Just been watching his videos from camp though and he looks in the best shape I’ve seen him. Lost a lot of weight. I’m hoping we get to see a new version of Dillian against Browne and he KO’s him.
Browne is a proper tit. Why do people on here find it hard to get behind British fighters on here? Or is it only the black ones? Whyte Okolie AJ Davies (albeit deservedly). Yarde (yeah I know) Don’t know any white fighters who get as much sh!t on here as the above.
Tyson Fury gets more abuse than anyone on here and he's not black. Froch used to get the same. I don't think someones skin colour comes into it for most on here, nor should it. I would say there are one or two racists on here unfortunately and it's not just directed at black fighters but travellers and Asian ones too. But then again most people who criticise those of ethnic minority fighters on here I am sure are not doing it based on there ethnicity.
Tony bellew gets a lot of stick as well and yes I know he’s like an 8th black or something but he gets **** for being a loud mouth with to high an opinion of himself.
Wilder is afraid of Whyte.................he turned down a lot of money to fight Whyte...................Joshua will knock Wilder out. If Fury get's into tip top shape, he can outbox Joshua...............I expect Joshua to beat Parker, but it might be a much harder fight than we all think, word is that his chin is like Tua's...........if so, long night for Joshua...........
That is an embarrassing comment. Whyte isn't a likeable guy, that's why no one is behind him, also the fact he isn't very good and his last few fights have been poor doesn't help. Maybe all us racists aren't really racist and we just aren't as gullable enough to believe all the hype JUST because they are British?
Fury, Gavin, Bellew and Fowler all get plenty of stick. If we analyse why then you'll find the cause of each one. Whyte - is a constant trash talker who overvalues himself and has been in some stinkers. Two very good fights, but the rest have been poor. Add to the fact many felt he lost to Chisora, then that's why. Okolie - he doesn't get much stick on here, people just don't think he is that good. The 'sauce' stuff is a little lame. AJ - a carefully manufactured media personality who sent those messages to Eddie Chambers...that one doesn't need justifying. Plus he's ultra famous so will always be a polarising figure. Davies - no explanation needed, although I'm starting to warm to him a little as I feel he's been misguided. Yarde - doesn't seem to get much stick either outside of how unaccomplished his opposition is Now, as for getting behind British fighters in general, there's more credence to that. I absolutely flat out refuse to back someone based on their nationality; I find it churlish at best and vacuous in earnest. Because we're in the UK, a lot of British fighters get massively over hyped and excuses are made for them when they lose, which is unpalatable to me. It's more to do with media than anything else. When Crolla got absolutely schooled by Linares twice, all I could see was how 'brave' Crolla was. We just love a loser over here which is fine but I dislike that British fighters feel void of criticism from the press at times. And that - wrongly - deters me from supporting them a lot of the time.
