The Wilder Whyte situation is a strange one. On one hand it's very hard to see why Wilder turned down several million to fight him, on the other hand I can't see how Whyte could beat him in a month of Sunday's as he is a light hitting heavyweight with average skills. I can see how he would think getting Whyte instead of AJ is a pisstake, especially as he would not be guaranteed that fight afterwards. I can see why his ego wouldn't want fight and how he would be scared of Judges robbing him over here if fight went distance. One thing for sure his reason for not wanting fight will be one of the above reasons but dont ask me which reason it is lol.

Bang on, why should wilder have to risk his belt to hype the fight when it does not need hyping at all? Turns out though that wilder has now taken what I believe a tougher fight for less money (I assume) based on his ego.

Wilder does still have not only a piece of what AJ needs but for many the WBC belt is the most prestigious of them all. Will be an Interesting negotiation with wilder if AJ has 4 belts (funny how Eddie now acknowledges the IBO!) To wilders 1. Think they will push 70/30 but will probably settle at 60/40

Just seen they’ve done a gloves are off for this. Can’t wait. Seems to be a genuine bit of rivalry there between two fighters with a bit of personality! Could be a cracker.
