I keep saying it on this forum - professional boxing is not a sport. "Levels" are promotional or related to manipulation, or just plain bent. To that end, Whyte was world level beyond dispute and the money he earned would say so. Doesn't make him a good boxer but if it was an actual regulated sport, we'd have found that out a lot earlier.
Vada only report to their employer, matchroom in this instance. Have the board even been informed? matchroom don't seem to think they have jurisdiction...
I don't know how it works because Whyte isn't lisences here, he's with the great boxing nation of Portugal I think. I'm guessing as he isn't a licensed by them, and he hasn't actually had the temp license to fight here, it's not their business?!
They might decide with a washed up heavyweight with 0 remaining value to them now, to make an example of him to show there moral stance on PEDs.
By last time you mean Rivas? They were promoting his show (as they're doing for AJ now). Minus the contract to take part in that show they have no dealings with him.
As salty as you boys sound! It’s got nothing to do with Matchroom and let’s see what a circus BBofC is. He like Fury is licensed in another country. VADA is voluntary and therefore although reported to all parties sanctioning the fight it’s not a body that issues the penalty. The onus is going to fall squarely at the board to start testing fighters in the UK properly and put in proper governance. it’s not the promoters job to ****ing dish out sanctions. This is showing the need for a FIFA type body. But obviously not as corrupt to police boxing
