Dillian's next fight for April 20th

Just don’t expect Whyte to destroy Breazeale,you gotta be realistic.

 

Look I’m probably Whytes biggest fan on here which is why I try and be subjective about things,Breazeale is a class boxer with a good chin and has the size,coming out with he’s gonna destroy does him a disservice imo.

 

In the secret conversation late on in that vid, I swear Eddie Hearn’s first whispered word to Dillian was ‘Usyk’.

Breazeale is probably the best bet, and I’d wager the easiest of the three by some distance. I’d be putting Whyte as an underdog against Povetkin and probably Ortiz.

Unfortunately for Whyte I reckon the latter two would result in a greater PPV event. I certainly wouldn’t part with any cash for Breazeale.

 

When ? Time??

 

Breazeale is a tough fight, he has chin, power and heart. Basically lacks everything else but you have to box him smart and make him pay.
Don't go all out or you'll end up like Ugonoh.

 

Whyte is a far more educated, patient and technical fighter than the one that brawled with Joshua nowadays and has a fight ending punch in that left hook of his so I fancy him against Breazeale and Old man Ortiz but, Povetkin I reckon even now, is a 50/50 fight. I don't think there are any easy fights now at the level Whyte is intending to compete at and no one fighter beats the other easily, that's just talking nonsense.

I think Whyte is playing the long game intentionally and looking to broaden his options at a world title shot and putting himself into mandatory position so that whoever the belt holders are, have no choice but to face him.

Wilder and Fury could well be tied up in a trilogy yet and AJ looks likely to be debuting in the states so really, Whyte has no option but to keep increasing his profile and subsequent value. Good luck to him.

Povetkin IMO is too much for Whyte and might demolish him.

 

I'm obviously biased but Chisora was (and still is) looking in career best shape.

Brezeale will be a hard match to make with everything going on, Povetkin is more realistic for April.

 

I don’t believe Povetkin is a Matchroom fighter, but the way Hearn is talking about him, he must have an option there. Honestly can’t see Whyte getting past him though.

 

Whyte has been crying for so long now he should just take Brezeale out and then he’s number 1 for the wbc, wilder can’t run forever

 

Breazeale makes the most sense. Brit casuals will know him from fighting Joshua and a win secures Whyte mandatory status. But I doubt that fight would come cheap, Breazeale has no real reason to fight Whyte, which means he'll need to pay Breazeale well, more than Breazeale would get fighting Wilder for the title.

Would be a tough fight too, Breazeale is very basic but he's big, hit's pretty hard and won't stop coming. Whyte would be favourite but I think it will be competitive.

Ortiz is the fight that appeals to me the most. There's clearly history there, both called out each other before and it would be good to see Ortiz actually step up again and fight at the top level again. Think it's a very dangerous fight for Whyte, he's going to have to be at his very best to win. I favour Ortiz but wouldn't rule Whyte out, he's in his prime and Ortiz is not. Not sure how marketable this fight is, hardcore fans will all tune in but UK casuals may only know Ortiz for his lack lustre performances vs Scott and Allen, which is a shame.

UK Casuals know Povetkin from his fights with Joshua and Price. He gave Joshua problems before being bombed out he'll be seen as the most dangerous opponent and therefore the most marketable. I think Povetkin beats Whyte, if Chisora can put the hurt on him twice the far more skilled and harder hitting Povetkin probably stops Whyte. But then again what do I know I thought Browne and Parker would beat Whyte.

 

Whyte would probably beat all 3 but doesn’t make him a match for the top 3. I would actually like to see how he does with somebody like brezeale who’s very big and durable, he beats Ortiz easily cause he’ll beat too fresh and Ortiz has no tank. Povetkin is also too old.

 

Whyte has tried this path already. Expect Ortiz and Brezeale to muck him around.

I would not be surprised at all if PARKER gets the call. A proven PPV matchup - begging for a rematch.
