    Smith is like a Mikey Ward type fighter whose good to watch and would produce great fights against guys in and around his own level.

    But Bivlol is far too good for Joe Smith. He will get hit too much and might end up taking a stoppage loss. It would be great to see him win though. :Laie_22mini:
    I think he'd have a better chance at clipping Beterbiev and turning him over for the 10 count :yawn:

    Is a shame he could go after a weaker titlist but 175 is super talented

    the only bothersome thing about smith was when he dropped barrera hard fast and then got boxed easily for the rest of the fight, he cant do that again, because bivol is asian/russian pure slickness.

    Bivol is one of the rare boxers who never seems to have to rush his work. If Smith can hustle him to fight out of his comfort zone, we have a contest. I suspect, however, Bivol's class will allow him to pick off a solid UD....

    I feel the same way. Joe needs to catch Bivol early to win IMO. If it goes past four rounds, Smith Jr is going to get his ears boxed off.
