Bivol too skilled for him. The Nail caught the Pimp at just the right time, but he got overrated after that.

I think most of the forum will go for Bivol, but for me, Gvozdyk's size advantage made him the favourite. Both highly skilled fighters.

The Nail crucifies and makes beef jerky out of the Buffalo.

Translation, Gvozdyk violently KO's Bivol. Even now.

The nail is too busy for Bivol. Bivol doesn’t hit as hard as beterbiev or fight an inside game like him either

gvozdyk ud probably 8 rounds to 4

    Gvozdyk by late KO.

Most people forget that Gvozdyk was poised to be one of the best light heavy. The Stevenson stoppage was not even surprising for most boxing fan, it's the way it happened that made it more spectacular.

He had skills, was efficient, had power and speed. Against Beterbiev, he was landing combos after combos on him. I think he got carried away early in the fight and his downfall is he thought he could take many of Beterbiev's shot to land his own, and he ended up gassed out and he couldn't take any punches anymore. In that 10th round he had nothing left. At the time of the stoppage he was ahead on 2 scorecards.

Bivol is a very good boxer, but whatever power he has doesn't show in his fights. Maybe he doesn't see the urgency. Joe Smith Jr, whom I love, is a overachiever. Pretty basic, but his power can save him most of the time. He was schooled by Bivol but even then, he managed to hurt him in the last round. I believe Gvozdyk would be too much for Bivol to handle. But maybe that's exactly the kind of match up he needs to show people how good he is.

Unfortunately we will never know. The defeat to Beterbiev and the problems with covid precipitated his retirement.

Gvozdyk was a big LHW and he made very good use of his range. Bivol isn't going to be able to outwork and outhustle Gvozdyk like he does everyone else as Gvozdyk has very good output himself. Bivol will have to pick his shots and set down on them and he isn't going to win fighting outside his comfort zone like that.

It's a pick 'em at this point. Stylistically they are similar but we haven't seen Bivol against an elite fighter yet.
