Marquez is arguably the best boxer/puncher out there. Valero is just a level above the simple slugger. Marquez by KO
After what a limited Juan Diaz was able to accomplish against JMM in a loosing effort I see this fight more competitive for JMM. The counter punching, D and experience of Juan Manuel will ultimately be the difference but I expect Ed to hurt JMM once or twice before JMM settles down and begins to show his superior skills. I see a late round TKO for JMM in a very exciting fight. I really want to see this one! Even a third fight with Pac or a fight between Pac and ED would be exciting although against Pac I see a less competitive match up where Pac wins early
It will be a fun fight to watch, i see Valero KD'ing Marq once or twice early. Heck, if a past-prime Barrera did it, Inca can. If JMM can come back from that (with his superlative recuperative abilities, there's little reason to believe he won't), he will counterpunch his way to a close but clear decision, maybe even TKOs Val in the championship rounds--deep and drowning waters for the latter...
He does'nt have to promote it.....apparently Arum is eager to have Valero fight JMM before JMM can get a third shot at Pac.......if thats the case, feed Valero to JMM and let GBP take care of the whole promotion.... ......Arum can just step aside and GTFOTW!:hey
I'll have to run counter to most of the sentiment on this thread. JMM is getting old and his powers of recuperation will fade eventually. He can be caught and KDd. It's happened lots of timess. I give Valero a 25 % chance in this one. If he's going to do it, it'l be in the first two (or maybe three) rounds. If there's a fourth round, things begin to look bleak for the younger DINAMITA. So while i would give Marquez a 75 % chance here, this is a fight i'd pay to see.
JMM should be happy to fight Valero. Valero is nothing but hype but at least we can say he is in his prime compared to CASA. JMM will have the priviledge of handling Valero his first KO loss! NO more No Less!!!!
