Drozd the first man who has "stopped" Wilson in the paid ranks.

Props to Ding for travelling over to Moscow to fight the underrated Russian cruiser weight hope Drozd on his home turf and putting all his eggs into one basket trying to decapitate Drozd as soon as possible.

Same here, I said at the time of the Nwodo fight after the victory that Ding would never wear a title and would be obliterated against guys like Enzo Mac, let alone Wlodarzyck or Huck.

Amsterdam and Zakman, about the only thing either of those dickheads got right was rating the prowess of Joe Calzaghe - not entirely hard, but I'm sure I remember Zakman saying before the Lacy fight that Calzaghe lacked the chin and would be blown out.. hahah

The moment Ding started making excuses for the losses he had on his career, blaming sleepless nights and other **** is the moment I knew he was never going to make anything more of himself than an occasional prospect slayer.

Seems those days are well past him now too, because he stopped training, struggles with the weight and relies too much on power that has no effect, cause he can't land it.

Amsterdam is gone, but i think thats a good think tho. hes a good manipulator and convincer... the guy could sell dirt to a ditch digger. he posted his opinions and people jerked off to his posts sif he was right all the time. i never really took him to seriously, but he could be ok sometimes, but its just that manipulating and nonsense posts really cut into it.

Both of them picked Ding to KO Arslan, Flores, and probably to win the contender show. just goes to show how a manipulator can get into another one. :deal

Amsterdam didn't like me because I constantly called him on his ****, pointed out that he had little to no knowledge about the sport and pointed out his repeated faults in picking fights.

Zakman, harmless old man who puts too much stock into physical gifts and not enough into mental and skillful ones.

As for Ding, just yet another American fighter who doesn't have what it takes to make it work for himself. It's quite worrying, once Bernard, Roy Jones Jr and Floyd leave the sport - there isn't a hell of a lot of American fighters left that can carry any flag.

 

Hopefully after Chambers loses today, he will go down to CW. I really think he could give guys like Adamek and Cunningham a good tough fight. I think hes a pretty good fighter, better than Ding anyways.
