Ding vs Haye

I agree. I would think that any professional boxer on here would go on and on about how they would kick everbody in their divisions ass, but at least you are realistic about who you think you would do well against and who you would have trouble with and back up your opinions with good analysis. :good

 

I'd pick Haye over Wilson, but he'd have to be very careful and use his superior speed and box. If he fights toe to toe with Wilson, he gets KO'd.

 

I never read anything from Mormeck about Ding but Mormeck told about Haye. Here is a part of the interview I posted recently (...nobody reacted, Haye has much more success with his interviews) . It's a classic Mormeck interview.

NB: As usual in boxing, there had been hesitations about the choice of your opponent. What did you want ?
JMM: I could have fought Cunningham for the IBF belt but I chose David Haye who is the official challenger for the WBC.

NB: It's an anticipated dangerous fight.
JMM:Of course, as every fight. My first fight against Bell was also very anticipated, same thing for the rematch. Such a fight can end with one punch in one second. Don't cheat, fight real fights.

NB:You will fight a younger boxer, 26 years old, ambitious, right handed, tall and big puncher. Aren't you afraid ?
JMM:He is young, he is ambitious. He has everything for him. But I am still very motivated, I am more experienced than him and I want to keep my titles. If he wants to become a world champion he will have to wait.

NB:He talked trash about you on english media, quotes"I want to go through him. I will KO him quickly. Mormeck is done."
JMM:Very good. Things can be said but you don't always do what you want. That's also why the fight is interesting.

NB:When did you begin your preparation?
JMM:I had begun to work by the end of june. Bag, medicine-ball to feel the atmosphere of the gym. At this time I didn't know if the fight would really happen. I was unable to run because of an injury but I had kept a good condition.

NB : Did you change your preparation ?
JMM:You have to change cause fights change. I have worked with Fred Roualen. I have worked on my stamina in the mountains. 2000m then 800m. Then we will be back at the altitude of the sea. We obtained everything to work well, we will see if the work pays the day of the fight.

NB:About boxing, do things go well with Richie Giachetti ?
JMM:It has always worked well. We had worked for Virgil Hill together in South Africa, we had worked for Bell in Levallois. Always the same staff but this time I have Fred for the condition. No reason to change the staff.

JMM:Each fight is an important step. When you obtain a major title another adventure begins. I want to obtain the other belts. The WBO and the IBF ones, yes.

NB:You also told about Fabrice Tiozzo. Will you fight him ? Everyone want to see this fight in France.
JMM:We often gave interview about each other in the newspapers. Now I think we have to discuss about this fight. I think this fight will happen but it depends on him now. He has to know I want to fight him.

 

ding may be good, but haye is the real deal he would put ding in a stretcher.

 

Ding what would happen if he fought you the same way he fought gurov and bonin In reality i think haye is to big and to tall for you ding m8, you know i respect you as a fighter but even you admitted haye had better power at range than you (obviously on the inside you might have the power edge), i know you have got a great chin but i am not sure even someone even with a granite chin such as yourself could walk down haye.

and thats how i see haye just not smart enough for you!what i mean by that he some times reminds me of a lennox lewis type fighter in the cw DIVISION TALLER AND LONGER than most he faces and power when he wants to crank it up but wary enough not to expose the chin a whole lot.but the major difference here is the extreme focus that lennox brought!he knew exactly HOW to fight each person he fought.rarely deviated from his game plan.mcall fight he was beatin by emmanuel more than oliver and rahman he lost that in hollywood!but haye is not the real deal its like a cross between fraudley and lennox rather than a carbon copy of lennox kinda a cheaper cut.i have no doubt when he feels that ding ping power brother gonna be countin lucky charm!

i also think he will slow his punch rate and chance takin greatly whne the leather flies..,this is a easy fight to see(maybe not to fight though) ding by ko4-6..,

you know ding ive seen compareson to mccall but i dont see that except the chin...,who do trainers and fight fans say your stlyes like ive been at it for 33 years and have yet to see a exact or even close style!a little like tua because of the every second of every round power is the closest i could come...,

I tell you guys one more time, I'm 100% sure Haye doesn't have

more one punch power than Emmanuel. Kelvin Davis said I was a little

stronger than Haye. I've studied Haye very well, he does better with

taller fighters. My height would be my advantage, if he fights me like

he fought Bonin, I'd time the **** out of him. Bonin is horrible. Gurov is

another tall fighter who was there to be hit (his head was right

there) and cannot take a shot very well.
