Man the cruiser weight division has gotten dull since Haye mentioned he's leaving. No good news for a while.
My promoter apparently has a tv date on either feb 8th or 15th. Hopefully against a top guy, I dont want no fuggin stay busy fight.
so i take it the whole CW division is on tenterhooks to see if/when haye drops those straps, will immediate fights be set up for those belts or will there be long drawn out elimination competitions? (in your opinion obviously)
i got a nice copy of lewis-golota i can send you. i'll throw in dawson-adamek for 50% the regular price.
The WBA strap doesn't count as Arslan will be named full champion. I'm pretty upset about the WBC situation as two undeserving fighters(but good fighters) will get first dibs on it from what I've been told. Those two are Godfrey and Kraj. Since they won a couple of WBC trinket titles, the powers that be bumped them way up. There's still hope for me fighting for the WBC, I just can't relay any details just yet. BTW, I like Haye because he is a real fighter that looks for real challenges. You can have any opinion you like, but we spoke with Maloney and offered to fight Haye at ANY weight. I'm 225 right now and faster than I've ever been. At 210 I'll be in tip top. Honestly, I have to dry down to make 200.
Actually I know about him very well. I was offered to fight him between late 03 early 04 for one of the regional titles. A few days later I got a call from the matchmaker saying they were no longer interested. What I think of him....I like watching him as he is very entertaning and is slightly deceptive(we are similar in that respect), while at the same time always looking for the kill.:good
