Bah! Dirrel cant hold a candle to Ottke-neither in achievements nor in talent.
However,I am not really sure who of this pair is the better runner.

As for Oganov he is one of the poorest fighters of one of the countries of the former soviet union I have seen for ages:stiff,one-dimensional,predictable,horrible defence,and slow.

He stopped Hanshaw when Jones didn't did and dropped his last opponet with a nasty straight left, he does have power.

 

He didn't stop Hanshaw with power but by throwing a lot of fast punches.

 

im not sure if its really pressure. he was jumping in looping punches where he was shoulder lunging. and i think dirrell was looking to actually counter more in this fight like he said but he had to figure when to throw a counter dude was close chest to chest close.and i think that was ofsetting dirrell. but hey i loved the fight. he did seem to spend himself a lil more than he wanted to. how many punches did he throw in first round? i agree with commentators he threw tons of uppercuts.

 

So your an idiot who thinks because somebody is throwing a bunch of fast punches must mean he doesn't have any type of real power? Hanshaw was wobbly and done and no fighter even Roy Jones had him hurt like that. Roy knocked him down, but he never had him out on his feet like Dirrell did. Dirrell doesn't have great power but he does have above average pop to go with his speed.

 

That ****ing joke of boxing had already captured a world tiltle with 17 pro fights,mate! Furthermore that ****ing joke of boxing defended his title countless times against good opposition. I am certainly no of his fans.I got bored silly watching his fights.Nevertheless,I have to admit that Ottke had an impressive career in the paid ranks.Dirrel? He is still far away from those shores.

 

Dude it was only his 17th fight, he was fighting a guy that was ranked higher then him I would say that is a step of of sorts, even though I think that he has already fought a few fighters that are better.

 

Ottke was the reason the "overprotected Euro-bum" myth exists.
