TBH, I predict multiple injuries after Abraham gets done with him. Dirrell's too green at this level. In a couple of years though... who knows...

I got this email from Agua Caliente, I bought tickets for the fights.

We have an important update regarding your recent purchase of tickets for the March 6th Showtime Super Six World Boxing Classic at The Show at Agua Caliente Casino, Resort, Spa in Rancho Mirage.

The main event featuring Arthur Abraham and Andre Dirrell has been postponed due to a fighter injury and will now showcase an equally exciting championship double-header:

Vic "Raging Bull" Darchinyan will defend his WBA/WBC Super Flyweight belt against Mexican sensation Rodrigo "Gato" Guerrero.

Australian lightweight Lenny Zappavigna will put his perfect record on the line against Ecuador's Fernando "La Fiera" Angulo for the vacant IBO Lightweight Belt.

Doors open at 3:00pm, with a thrilling undercard set to begin at 3:30pm.

I mean its rough for those that bought tickets and are disappointed by no Super Six that night. But for TV viewers, and Darchinyan fans it would work out well if Showtime went with the two cards in the month. Darchinyan has headlined plenty of cards on Showtime. I thought they might do this, rather than transfer the entire card to another date.

But as well respected as Agua Caliente is :huh, i would like further confirmation.

surely people should be able to get refunds if the main event has been changed?

fine print. Depends on the site. When Guzman-Campbell was cancelled and the Bradley fight went forward, they did give ticket holders the option to refund. Doesn't always work that way.
