I don't always know where they get their information from, and it is usually pretty credible in these situations, but boxrec shows Dirrell and Abraham matched up in the U.S. on January 23rd...a nice and swift 3 months from their previous fights. If this holds true, this would kick ass. It is rare that high profile fighters fight every 3 months (seems more like 6 usually, if we're lucky). This would be a sign that the tournament is on it's way to progressing and that the show will go on.

Not with Dirrell's judges and referee. Will they try to do that same thing that Ward is trying?

WBA spokesperson says that they have tried to get in touch with the Californian Boxing Commission but that they are not answering. The WBA is very disappointed in the lack of professionalism shown by CBA and if the one Californian judge is not changed for an impartial judge and the referee changed for an impartial one, the WBA will not sanction that the fight is for the WBA belt.

Thanks. I was trying to add something new to the recent forum posts for a little variety, not to mention relevant news that many may not be aware of. But thanks for repeating what you've been repeatingly repeating in every other thread that has nothing to do with this one. Much appreciated.

A fixed fight must be stopped before it happens. This has to be resolved.

You're just the man to do it too. Get out there and stop it. Leave the keyboard now and do it. Go by train, plane, boat, submarine, hot air balloon, whatever method is required, pound on doors and wait on doorsteps, find everyone responsible, and make sure that this fight is fair. Whatever you do, don't come back until you have done this. I expect it'll take you at least a few months, so we'll see you back around February.

I can see that you want a fixed fight.

I am glad the WBA and Sauerland caught the criminals in the act.

I can see you are not a boxing fan and have only ONE boxing take that you repeat over and over and over and OVER! Every boxing fight is fixed. Every black fighter cheats. Every fight is decided before it even starts. WE ****ING GET IT! Pick a second subject already. So you're from a farm, but DAMN, a little something deeper than the brain cells it takes to milk a cow and punch on bails of hay PLEASE!

what are you talking about? Dirrell gets a bogus decision in the UK and you are giving him **** about what may happen in the future. Stick to the topic of the thread. Great to see this activity out of top fighters

I just requested, nay DEMANDED that you personally rectify this so that we have a clean tournament, and you have the gall to insinuate that I want to see a fixed fight? Pot, this is kettle, and I call thee black.

Dirrell was the laughing stock of boxing. He refused to fight. He thought he could just steal the fight by running, holding, complaining and falling down on canvas. The judges in that fight were not from England. Ward's judges are from his home turf, so is the ref.

Dirrell hurt Froch badly at least twice. Froch didn't hurt Dirrell ONCE. I'm pretty sure he was FIGHTING when he hurt Froch too. I don't believe he hurt him with a pirouette or anything like that.

BOT, thank you David for posting this news. I was wondering this myself talking with a few buds of mine. This fight should be great and an upset might happen. Everybody is writing of Dirrell, but he might have the style to beat AA.

Farmboxer could you just leave. You are an annoying cancer that things negative. Think positive and you might actually start enjoying this great and very popular sport called Boxing.

really? that was your take on Dirrell - Froch? I think Dirrell looked a bit green and wasn't able to take advantage the way he should have. Complaining to the ref in the middle of an exchange is pretty stupid. That being said, Dirrell did more then enough to win and if anything Froch game off looking like an idiot with his post fight comments and it appears the most people think he is going to get hurt badly against kessler. That being said, Dirrell has never done anything to unfairly manipulate the outcome of a fight and it is stupid of you to compare what ward is doing to what dirrell might do. You are showing your ignorance
