Pacquiao landed more flush shots. Facial damage isn't indicative if anything as some guys, Gatti, Hatton etc., swell up quickly and cut, whilst others, Ali, Hagler, tend not to suffer as much damage. White boxers have sharper bone structure, so are more prone to facial damage.

He had win the last two and a half rounds of the fight, and should have had a knockdown. He was in the ascendancy, even Dirrell fans admit that.

So you're calling Pacquiao feather fisted?

He'd won 2 rounds, 1 of which was pretty even. He was losing the 11th at the time of the DQ. Hadnt even landed a punch. Dirrell tripped over his foot on the KD, wasnt hurt and it didnt matter.

You call it ascendancy, I call it desperation of a beaten fighter.

How did you manage to take what I said about bone structure and turn that into Pacquiao being feather fisted? You just missed my point entirely.

He'd won two rounds and was winning the last. The knockdown was legit, though I agree Dirrell was fine. He wasn't looking good towards the end though.

That ascendancy has saved Abraham several times.

There is no amount of bone structure that is going to stop a fighter from swelling if he is hit. Especially by a puncher with Pacquiao's power. Probably the strongest puncher pound for pound in boxing. If Pacquiao was landing flush it would have shown.

Plus Clottey has that African bone structure, **** his head is all bone. :rofl

:rofl How do you win around without landing any punches? Did you watch that round jack?

    Watch the 11th jack.

One thing for sure. Abraham earned his shame. Still no apology for his behavior. I guess these guys are used to watching their ****** ass 'football' players flop around like fish out of water if someone even looks at them.

Well, one hard shot and it WAS over.

If only Dirrell was standing up when it happened....

My point is that if Abraham was going to get Dirrell at all within the final 4.5 minutes of the fight (because that's all that was left in the fight) it would had to have been with one big shot. If Abraham fans are so convinced that Abraham had enough power to take out Dirrell with one big shot in the next four and a half minutes, why is it suddenly impossible to believe that Dirrell would have been KO'ed by one big leveraged shot from Abraham while Dirrell was on the ground, completely unprotected, completely unprepared, with no idea that shot was coming?

If Dirrell was going to fake anything, the 10th would have been the round - because it was about the only round he lost. Abraham had nothing in the 11th.

I didn't like Dirrell before this fight, and I really liked Abraham before this fight. But it's a disgrace that Abraham would rob Dirrell of a dominant performance. Like Dirrell said, he performed really well and deserved the pomp and circumstance that he was a few minutes away from getting - the standing ovation from his fans, sitting on his camp's shoulders and raising his hands, the post-fight commentary, the post-fight press conference with a fawning media eager to hear everything he had to say - and most importantly, the redemption that came with all of that. He was 4.5 minutes away from that happening - and people here think he intentionally threw that away during a round he was WINNING because he was afraid of a big shot in the next round and a half that never came in 10.5 previous rounds?

Can people honestly look at themselves in the mirror and say that with a straight face? Or worse, say he DESERVED it because you don't like his fighting style. If so, we're a far more cynical lot than I ever thought possible.

Abraham also slipped, however, in that exact same spot. The commentators both said that the logo there was giving fighters problems all night.

I believe he deserved more than that. There are certain times in life where you just have to throw the rulebook out the window and go eye for an eye. I am surprised the dirrel camp did not storm that ring, and at least, stab out one of arthur's eye blinding him for life. Thats how the **** is supposed to go down.
