Well thats the point isnt it, and something you dont seem to understand.

Its called "versatility". Maybe you are used to watching one trick ponies like Abraham, but to truly be called elite, you need to be able to set traps, counter, and change your gameplan mid fight.

Again if you are trying to tell me that Dirrell wasnt trying to set traps against the ropes and corners for Abraham the whole fight, its just shows your limited boxing IQ as I addressed earlier.

 no he wasnt trying to set traps against the ropes ...he was defending by counter-punching and he was doing it well. He kd AA like that caught him out of balance swinging with a good counter .

He was setting traps against the ropes, did the same against Froch, pretty much the same as what Mayweather was doing against Hattton.

2:07 in the video son, perfect example

Direll is a hell of a figther, I'm a big fan now, the way he handled AA was impressive,
Ward is good but a dirty figther, Direll is my favorite in the super six :good

I feel for Dirrell, you want the post fight interviews etc, take pride in your victory, not celebrate after being cheated out of victory and even worse knocked out how he was. His next fight is crucial to where his future is, he needs to come through a tough next fight for him to be back on the right path.

I guess the truth is somewhere in between. Dirrell showed some great skills and when he was against the ropes, he clearly lured AA in and tried to counter him. He had a gameplan and went through with it.
On the other hand it sometimes looks like he slips when things get tough and he ducks below the waist too often for my liking.
But nobody´s perfect. He clearly won and was fine late in the fight. For AA to score the KO was highly unlikely.

    like Andre Ward for example.

what do you mean WTF? Are you saying that its crazy to talk about a better fighter than Dirrell?

this is the kind of bull**** overrating that happens every time someone gets a good win. Its dumb as **** and what's even worse is that if you don't jump on the bandwagon you are labeled a hater.

forget that **** man. Dirrell beat Arthur Abraham, not a prime Roy Jones Jr. :patsch

This has been the overlooked element thanks to Abraham and Saurland.

:good Yep if you put it that way, I can´t argue with you. AA had few moments during the last rounds, but we will never know what would have happend, too bad.

Nice article but u didn't mention the Let me breath ya'll moment (total act) and ... Where did u take this from :
Things like pupil dilation that simply cannot be faked by a human being. Little mannerisms that won't be recognized by people not trained to do so.
And BigBone comment was interesting :)

Just another ridiculous article about the fight. First of all Abraham is neither able to understand nor speak English good enough to answer any questions on his own. Second, he wasn't hurt. He had a cut, the KDs put him on his butt, but that's it. He was not hurt for one second of the fight. Dirrell shouldn't even think of a second fight against Abraham - as good as he was in the first one, it would be a different fight. Big Bone's comment is very good though.
