So once they are ready (injury-free) to step into the ring...Showtime should set-up Dirrell vs Kessler in 2011. WHO WINS?

I doubt Dirrell will be allowed to get back on screen and Kessler's real injury might not be treatable (think Calvin Brock, or the success Izzy Vazquez had coming back). Kessler had no BS reason to pull out of a fight vs. Allan ****ing Green and losing his hard-earned title plus a major payday in an easy blowout, whereas Dirrell and Ward never wanted to fight, never started to negotiate the fight, and never started to train for the fight. Dirrell had no title to lose and was the underdog at the bookies so losing to his buddy would've hurt his stock much more than pulling out with a BS reason. But that might backfire, because there's a chance he'll not be allowed back on screen.

I believe BTW that Dirrell would win this match-up, Kessler lost a step and the Froch war certainly didn't help him get it back.

I heard someone say that anyone who dropped out of the Super 6 was not allowed to fight until the Super 6 was over...is that correct?

I'd favour Dirrell in this match-up, as long he was over his excu...I mean brain injury.

Dead-on!!! I think the next-time Showtime or any network makes an attempt to put together a Tourney...THEY'LL DO THEIR HOME-WORK!!! Make sure there are NO FRIENDS, BUDDYS', FORMER TRAINING PARTNERS....ETC!!!

Kessler was never been and will never be a "faker" or quitter! :nono
Boxed 12 round against Carl Froch with dobbelt vision is not for children like you!

    Kessler KO Dirrell in 12

Dirrell has a lot of speed and god punching but I think Kessler would win on better stamina..

Dirrells defence gets really bad in late rounds and I question his chin against kessler.

Kessler is unlikely to fight again. His injury is for real and he is well off financially.
Dirrel is a fraud and I don't wish to ever see this ****wit again.

Froch said that Kessler had retired, but I've not seen a formal announcement from Kessler. Dirrell would do very well against Kessler for the first 8 rounds or so, would make him miss a lot, use his lateral movement to avoid punches. The question is what happens after round 9. Kessler is a warrior. He'd fight for the KO to the last bell. My pick would be Dirrell by fairly wide UD or Kessler tko 11. But I seriously doubt this fight will ever happen.

Kessler is not retired before he comes out with that statement himself. But last time i heard news about his injury its not improved much yet, so i actually start to doubt he is comming back

Even if Kessler could get back to full health, I still see Dirrell being too quick, too slick, for Kessler.

    Dirrell wide UD.
