Good matchup... I think Dirrell will be to fast for Kessler. The question is if Kessler can walk Dirrell downand catch him in the later rounds with something big.

Either Kessler by KO or Dirrell by UD.

Dirrell is possibly the most gifted fighter at smw imo.

Bute wants to fight in USA but even his American opponents want to fight in Montreal because their payday is better here. Of course, a rational fact cannot be understood by all of us on the board.

Physically gifted, I agree. Unfortunately for him, it's not enough. He reminds me of Chad Dawson. Both seem to have everything but...

    Ring IQ?
    Heart?
    Eager?
    Killer instinct?
    Passion?

I don't know exactly but they lack of something.

    :lol::lol:

Abrahams opponents made more in Germany, do you also believe they wanted to fight over there?

And no, how on earth can you possibly believe the top level opponents wants to fight in their opponents home town? :rofl

So, you say that every top opponent wants the fight at home. What is Bute's fault then? To be able to do it?

Bute was game to go in Nothingham to face Froch. The timing was just not good. Bute was willing and happy to go to USA to fight Andrade but GBP decided to make the fight in Montreal.

What's your point again? Oh, you don't have a point, you only have hate to vomit.

Cant see that being the outcome, Dirrell is better than Alexander, if i was Kessler i would stay the **** away from Dirrell and thats coming from a big fan of the guy, hes lost allot of the attributes that made him a once formidle opponent, he wont regain the accuracy and the timing that he once had to beat a guy as quick and clever as Dirrell.

I think you are right on Kessler, unfortunately. Injuries and contractual problems have changed his career. The perfect timed 1-2 is not there anymore. Dirrell is a fast southpaw, something Kessler has trouble with. I'm not sold on Dirrell intangibles though. Kessler is a warrior and that may be enough for him to win, as in the Froch-Dirrell fight.

Nice fight, but only if Bute is sure to face the winner. If not, I'd prefer Bute-Dirrell or Bute-Kessler. :bart

Dirrell might be quick, but clever I just don't see it. He can be made to fold and Kessler can be the one to do it.

    50/50 fight imo

I think Sauerland would be more inclined to take a Bute-Kessler fight than a Dirrell-Kessler fight, only because Kessler has a leg to lean on if he loses - it's a championship fight. Plus, he's guaranteed another one with his Emeritus status @ WBC. Dirrell-Kessler also means Bute would have to wait his turn during the summer, and unless he fights Sartison or Stieglitz, or maybe even Pavlik it doesn't help him at all. Bute is slightly behind Dirrell in terms of speed and reflexes, but the power he puts in his left hand is an x-factor Dirrell doesn't have. Kessler, theoratically, should prefer a Dirrell fight where power on the receiving end isn't really an issue.

IMO Sauerland will actually have to convince Kessler to fight Bute, all based on Showtime's schedule requirements and Sauerland's own greed for world titles & their associated recognition. Dirrell is bad for Pavlik, but if they were to fight each other in the summer, that'd be huge in America. And a huge step forward for Pavlik if he beats the so-called Matrix. I will continue to have my doubts that both Sartison and Stieglitz will refuse any kind of money that's offered for a fight vs either Bute or Kessler, only because they're high risk opponents in a division where both Sarts/Stieg would have a damn hard time regaining a title. Again with money as a force driver.

Kessler would have problems with Dirrell for a few reasons, skill not being one of them. Dirrells lack of heart for a fight would actually be an advantage for Andre as he wouldn't try and get into a war.

I don't want anymore of the winner of him and him should face Bute stuff..

Both guys should face Bute before the end of 2011...period !!

Both Dirrell & Kessler will get back in action soon and Bute said several times that he wants to fight 3 times this year, therefore his next 2 fights after Magee should be against both these guys.

The final winner from those matches gets the S6 winner.

Showtime needs to enforce these matches !!
