If either of these two fight again how will you view them in regards to the injurys they both suffered if it looks like the injurys where exagerated or did not even exist t start with.

I know a lot of people thought Dirrell was faking it.

You are the first person I have seen to suggest that Kessler was faking it.

As such, I suspect that you are probably just a clown.

Its called being objective, i took two fighters who both participated in a tournement at same time and both had to withdraw due to injurys. Picking just Dirrell or just Kessler would not give as much chance of getting a reasoned and non bias debate.

I really don't think Kessler was faking it. It has looked clear that the eye injury he sustained was legit as it came into play against Froch, that is why he rested it. I don't really beleave Dirrell though as the KO looked fake and there have been a lot of fighters who have performed well after being KO'd. I'm not saying that a KO can't have a negative affect on a fight but he shouldn't have quit the tourney imo.

I think Dirrel has promise but I dont nknow if mentally he is ready

Kessler well he is a very good fighter but he isnt young anymore

I think Dirrel has the goods to win a title but his mentality may let him down

Kessler I think is getting old and his style is tough but easy to figure out

Dirrell I really dont know. He said he had all these probs, where when asked one of his team suggested a lawyer present etc, then I read he was training and that was before the Ward fight happend. I have no idea if Dirrell saw a specialist as in the interview I only remember Dirrell saying the family doctor (though maybe he is a specialist??)
Dirrell I am not convinced about the whole thing.

With Kessler, I dont doubt the guy for a second. Kessler is a competitor who has ducked nobody and fought away to make fights happen. Kessler was coming off a big win over C Froch and could have come out of the S6 with an injury and sat on his world title. Instead Kessler gave up his world title so others could challenge for it.

When you analyse the 2 fighters, one is a 2 time WBC and a 2 time WBA SMW champ who has beaten to my knowledge 8 past or present world champs, 3 of which have won world titles after Kessler has beaten them, 3 of which were active world champs when Kessler beat them.
The other lost to a fighter Kessler beat, and has only beaten a former MW champ with no big wins, who was completely dominated in his very next fight, and that win was by DQ when KOd.

Dirrells injuries were completely fabricated. So I expect him to pick up where he left off.

Kessler however, I am a bit worried about. He was already on the wane and this injury/inactivity can't help. If he's the same Kessler that beat Froch he'll go over the Canada and beat the overrated Bute. Just have to wait and see how he looks in his tune up fight.

Kessler was clearly not faking his injury and he gave up his belt to the Super 6. Dirrell is one big question mark, either the injury was not as bad as was made out or he is fooling himself thinking he will be fighting again.

I don't believe either faked their injuries in the ring (Dirrell/Abraham, Kessler/Ward). How Dirrell acted leading up to the Ward fight, he was a straight up *****. With all the bull**** etc.

I don't think Kessler will beat Bute or Froch. Dirrell could win a belt, but as was said already, has he the mentality?

I hope Dirrell can change the minds of the majority, that would mean him fighting great fights against great fighters.

Dirrell can't dig deep and Kessler can't adapt well. Kessler can dig deep though so I see him winning if they were to fight though Bute beats both because of the faults I said of Kessler & Dirrell.

As far as Froch-Kessler, that fight could've went either way but I thought Dirrell clearly beat him though he fought negative most of the time. Froch-Kessler no doubt is much easier to rewatch as both guys came to fight and gave very solid skills believe it or not. Froch's jab and Kessler's timing were great to watch for a purist like myself.

I think it was pretty evident that Kessler had a legitimate eye injury after Ward proceeded to make a total disgrace of himself with the illegal use of the head. In the Froch fight Kessler had very little grasp of range and timing due to the effects he was suffering from, instead he was forced to go to war to get a bruising victory, i doubt pre-Calzaghe Kessler would struggle a great deal with Froch due to how there contrasting styles would have clashed.

I dont see any reason why Kessler should have faked his injury! He had the S6 easiest opponent in his next fight, and he also gave up his hard fought title too. It doesn`t make any sence at all if he faked it..
