I wonder why Dirrell ran, ducked, held and did everything possible not to fight with perhaps the most unskilled man in the super 6 if he knew he was so superior. Oh, and lost to him to. Ah, I guess that's where you're coming from. He is massively superior in running, holding etc. Just like no one in Europe headbutts and mauls like Ward.
\ Dirrell comprehensively outboxed Froch. In the 5th round Dirrell is landing punch after punch, Froch gets pissed and body slams him for no reason other then the fact he was getting schooled. I dont fault Dirrell never going 12 rounds, first championship fight away, young fighter not knowing how to properly respond. However he did hurt the limey bum in the 10th and again comprehensively outboxed him in the 11th and 12th. Again it is England. Where illegal fouling is allowed. McCellan being beaten ******ed by rabbit punches, and Tsyzu getting nut punched and hugged int retirement. Not a place where anyone should go for a real boxing match.
Neither of those fightes are ATG's. If they are they just squeak in to the top 100. The Ring for instance, a British magazine circa 2002 doesnt have em anywhere. So yeah fail.
Yes he is. At least, he could. But I don't think it would be a nice fight to watch for at least 8 rounds. It will begin to be fun after that, when Dirrell starts fighting because he's not able to run anymore and because Bute finds a way to catch him.
