No mate. Totally wrong. It's more likely you who will be embarrassed to have written this post when Froch KOs Dirrell before the 10th. Also, I think you need to consider that Froch DID beat Taylor and Pascal who are considerably better, more experienced Pros than Dirrell. This will be Frochs easiest fight out his last 3. If you're waiting for Froch to lose, you're going to have to wait a while longer yet my friend.
Froch KO's him before the 6th. Way different level of class. I don't believe that Dirrell has ever tasted the kind of power that Froch hits with.
Amateurs: Hit and score points within stylistic match ups Pros: Hit meaningfully and impose your will on your opponent to score points There is a slight differentiation between the two.
I like Dirrell but he should be aware that he hit one previous undefeated opponent with everything he got and the first time the russian origin fighter touched him with, he went down... Andre is not very committed and aggressive and Froch beat someone with the same style in Pascal. Anyway, he should get the decision in case it goes the distance.
How is Froch going to catch Dirrell? Froch is slow as hell, all his punches are telegraphed and has poor handspeed. Dirrell defense is good, much better than Taylor's, all Dirrell will be doing is countering, ducking, and doging mostly everything Froch throws.
Pascal likes to sometimes be macho and trade and brawl. If he didn't do that, he would of won the fight.
"embarrassment"? "IF Froch never beat Taylor"? IF my aunt had balls, she'd be my uncle. He DID defeat Taylor. He defeated him by STOPPAGE. Taylor was a former WORLD middleweight champion, not an unbeaten prospect. Taylor had a resume with solid names on it. What fight on Dirrell's ledger makes you think this way?
We only can deal with the facts. I like Dirrell but Froch is not a bum that we originally thought he was b/c of his intangibles. He got up off of the canvas to knockout Taylor the same way Pavlik did but you have to look at Froch's face even when he was hurt and his expression never changed..The dude has a sick aura of confidence that is both crazy and effective at the same time. Based on just skill he would lose to each and every guy on the card. But we do know Dirrell has punched himself out in a few fights and I am not sure he is in deep waters. I think if he does some serious road work and gets focused the fight will be his to win. But if he slacks off on any of that then I think Froch can get past being outboxed for 6 rounds and start to land.
Did you just read the first sentence of my post? You obviously missed the part where i said that it wouldn't shock me one bit if Dirrell completely outclassed Froch from 1-12. My point is that because Dirrell is so untested, there are a lot of question marks. I'm sure Dirrell will look great early on but how will Dirrell's stamina hold up when he's been on his bicycle for 9 rounds?
I'll bump your post. But not in disagreement. Because Dirrell has a very high chance of busting Froch up in this fight. I feel it coming. Most people don't see Jermain Taylor for what he was -- borderline shot. Andre Direll ain't coming here to lay down and he seems to really want Froch in this tournament. Dirrell has his weaknesses, but he and JT have nothing in common as Froch will soon find out. Remember, Froch was put on the canvas by JT who hadn't KO'ed anyone is ages. He couldnt even KO those Junior Middleweights (Ouma and Spinks) when he fought them, but he had Kelly Pavlik almost out and Froch would have been in serious trouble if JT had more stamina when he put him down. Dirrell might ruin Froch's Super 6 run. It's a big possibility even though Froch is a tough, tough guy. Getting by on just that can only take you so far. It remains to be seen if Dirrell is the guy to reveal that to him finally, but I won't be surprised if he is.
I would say before the 6th but I reckon that if he's still up after his first taste of Frochs power he'll be in survival mode.
