Dirrell could beat Ward

In theory Dirrell has the skills to beat Ward . If he turned up focused and ready to fight to the best of his ability and tried to win the fight rather than trying to spoil his way to a decision then he could win . I suspect that Dirrell isnt capable of doing that though

I see 12 rounds of Dirrell bitching to the ref before complaining about the decision

 

I really don't think Dirrell is any more skilled than Ward.

Unless flashyness is now considered skilful.....

Ward would bash him up, Dirrell probably quits on his stool citing [insert fake injury here] or runs around and cries robbery afterwards.

They're light years apart, God knows how rusty he'll look in this comeback fight after nearly two years off.

Dirrell is a very good defensive fighter but got hit with some big shots against Abraham if I remember right (prob don't...) . If Abraham can hit him then Ward certainly can.

 

Yeah he did, especially late.

I think he put too much into those earlier rounds so started to slacken off as Abraham got going.

Against Froch it was the opposite.

 

Dirrell would quit.

That kid has some great skills.

Never going to happen. He's been boxing since his adolescence at least, he just doesn't have a fighters mentality.

 

Controversial, but I think DeGale would be a tricky opponent for Ward in 18 months or so.
