How many times?? Dirrell didn't get the decision against Froch (Who was never #1) and Abraham was/has never been #1 at 168! But, if Dirrell beats Ward he will have beaten (Imo as some people consider Bute the #1) the strongest candidate for the #1 spot! If Dirrell beats Ward I will say "Well Done Andre, now ffs please have a word with sp550i" Everyone seems to be biased, except you? Spoken like a true extremist (Or wind-up merchant, I really am not sure which). Sorry but a ko victory over JT did not make Abraham the #1 in the division (Ask Froch, he has a ko victory over JT to his name and a decision victory over Dirrell and he was/is still not considered#1 by most). I hope you realise that: 1. The UK is also in fact Great Britain!!!! 2. Montreal is not in the UK/Great Britain! It is in fact in Canada (That big place up the road from The U.S.A). You sir are a "Wind-up" merchant!! No-one could be as ignorant and unwilling to consider facts unless they were "At the wind-up"!! So, okay, you got me.
:rofl:rofl You have to do a bit more than beat one top level opponent and lose a contentious decision to another world champion to make the top 10 p4p. Even if he had "shut out" Froch (which he didn't, he won in most peoples eyes but not by much and not in a clear or impressive fashion), that would not be enough to leap him into the top 10.
He may one day turn out to be the goods, but not yet. Lets look at his career so far... Lost to Froch in a close fight (however you scored it) Boxing News and The Ring magazine both had Froch a close winner. Has a DQ win over Abraham who was a MW champ but at SMW only had 2 wins, 1 over Taylor who had been KOd in his last fight, and 1 over Miranda who was only 2 journeyman fights past being KOd by Pavlik, though would go on to take Ward the distance. Against AA he was winning but still finished the fight out cold, so he dosent seem P4P material quite yet. Based on what you say Froch should then be in the P4P rankings.
This is my last post on your thread, because I'm bored of it. I'm British. But just because I'm British doesnt mean I want to see 'our' guy win (in England, not of England - but that's a different debate). Yes, sometimes I want to see a Brit win - Hatton and Haye are good examples. I like those guys, so I want to see them win. But I'm not blind to the fact that they could (and in Hatton's case, did) get outclassed at times. Where they've been beaten, I've taken it for what it is - a defeat. As for Dirrell, I dont really have an opinion on the lad. He beat AA and for that should be applauded. He didnt beat Froch. And, as said, I dont really rate Froch that highly, so in my book he's not top 10 p4p because he was beaten by a guy that I dont rate near the top ten. Now, Abraham on the other hand, I do rate highly but could still see that he would be beaten by Dirrell. Yet, I didnt have Abraham top ten P4P, so Dirrell doesnt jump into my P4P list either. Top and bottom of it, regardless of where I'm from, I can see that you're angry about something. But you should put that aside for a moment and look at Dirrell's record. He's got a very good win over Abraham. That aside, his record is bare. As such, he's not top ten P4P worthy. Over 'n' out.
Dirrell and Ward will be on the list soon enough. SMW is full of Eurobums and it wont take much to clean that division out.
Anyone who puts Dirrell near top ten is clueless. He may get there one day but at the moment...... This thread had to be a windup so this will be my 1 and only post. \
How would anyone get on a P4P list clearing out such a weak division? Don't you people ever think before you press post?
MW just hates everything British/European and his hatred of all such things often blinds him to logic, which is a ****ing shame because when you catch the guy in "Sensible" mode, he really does post some decent posts!!
I love Lennox Lewis, I like Amir Khan, I used to like Froch because he had the balls to come to America and do the business but then he became a sore gifter, and now I cant wait till he gets shellacked like the bum he is. I even warmed up to Kessler because even though I've always knew he was overrated, he took his loss like a man, unlike the Slobra who cant take gifts like a man.
Especially when the division is apparantly going to be 'cleaned out' by two different fighters. Errr, how does that work?!
