If someone were to watch this and didn't know ANYTHING about the circumstances and were just asked whether or not the Dirrel family was being truthful or not...maybe 1 in 100 would think they were telling the whole truth. Lying or not, you gotta have dome better answers than that.

 

This was the most calculated interview I have wathed in recent times ..I mean his brother was acting like a greedy promoter ..No Wonder Dirrell's father wanted a lawyer present ..Dam shame !!

Just watching that footage pisses me off, it feels pretty obvious that Dirrell and Ward were never going to fight, wtf is Dirrell going on about negotiation stage? i could have swore it was part of the super six contract that you had to fight the guy you were drawn with, is that not the idea of a tournament. I find myself not angry at Abraham due to the illegal punch but because he gave Dirrell the ideal excuse to pull out of the event. I was prepared to give Dirrell the benefit of the doubt but as a boxing fan i find him disgraceful and calculated.:hi:

I bet showtime regrets giving Dirrell a chance. Dirrell would have been nothing without this tournament. HBO was finished with him after his performance on their network. His decent showing gave him new life. This isn't how you do business though. Shaw is prolly embarrassed over this ****.
