Dirrell had a 3 months recovery time for his brain injury

    We'll never know whether Dirrell's injury was exaggerated or not. When US military personel are subjected to IED blasts, unless they have a base line reading of their brain activity prior, they can't even necessarily prove their suffering from a brain injury, they just suffer with it. How Dirrell handled the situation was poor, but if he was suffering from a brain injury, then that's understandable and it's the people around him who are at fault. His uncle, grand dad, Gary Shaw.

    One way we might be able to see if his injury was legit is if he fights someone who can actually fight, and Dirrell doesn't take the punishment as well as he did say against Froch. So there you go, give him another tune up and have a rematch with Froch, using his first fight with Froch as a baseline assessment.
